As man's most ancient foe taints every breath,
searing vapors snort through nostrils flared.
Emanating from the darkest of shackled deeps,
it bellows to the surface, no longer ensnared. This unruly beast gnashes to devour its host,
awoken and stirred by some trigger of release.
Blind and spewing blood it aches to grapple,
consuming with unbridled reign, souls of peace.
