Remember when...

Remember when the days were too short and the nights too long,
back when all that really mattered was the singing our love song?

Remember when our time was measured in little moments so fond,
the kind which wove the interlacing fibers of our ever growing bond?
I do.

Remember when one and one equaled one regardless of the equation,
when no amount of numbers could disrupt the gravity of our rotation?

when the sun and moon, stars and clouds made everything so clear?

and how they made me leap and dance to the flow of a wonderful chime?

my one and only, my blue rose, my prized jewel with beauty so true?
