I sat in the office, fiddling with the pen that was currently sitting in my hand, I looked around the room at our small team, there was currently only 5 of us, but I knew our boss would be adding a few more people, after he had told us we would be moving to be on location in a few months for filming. I was brought out of my thoughts once I saw our boss walk in and take a seat.

'Ok so as you know we have been in talks with one of the directors of a film that's about to start shooting in a couple of months' Luke said, flicking through his folder in front of him, 'They have decided that we were the best candidate, so we are going to be responsible for providing the horses they need on set'

'So we're also going to have to work with the actors to train them then?' Alice spoke up, looking around the room, most of us hadn't had to deal with training and teaching other people before.

'Yes, we are going to be running a sort of boot camp for the actors who are going to be in the film' Luke said, looking over at me, 'they'll be coming to spend some time out here on the property before we move out to the filming locations'

I nodded in response, 'What horses are you thinking of using then' I asked, not sure what we were going to be requested for.

'We are still in talks so far, but all the main actors will require their own horses, plus there are some talks about some liberty horse scenes ' Luke said, looking down at the piece of paper in his hands.

There was a few moments of silence until Jacob spoke up,'what's the actual movie going to be about then?' it was only fair we knew what we were going to be dealing with, none of us cared to much about the actual storyline, but from that we can start determining what horses would best suit the film.

'It's going to be a sort of romance and western cross over by the looks of it, and the main two actors are going to be Sebastian Stan and Carol King' Luke said, 'and from the looks of it neither of them have much horse experience'

Great I thought, dealing with people who had no idea what to do around horses, I was much more of an animal person then a people person. I knew when I took on this new role that I would have to be dealing with people, but I still preferred the company of my horses to the company of other people.

I looked down at my watch, realising it was almost time for us to head out to stables to start exercising our herd of horses. 'Are you planning on using all of the horses then?' I asked, looking over at Luke.

'At this point we will be using all of them, but the director will be coming down tomorrow afternoon to meet with all of us and then we can all discuss what is going to work best for everyone involved' Luke said, 'but Jocelyn I want to use both Patriot and Soldier for the main actors, I think they will be the best two for the job looking over at the script quickly, and then I want to also use your skills with our liberty horses'

I nodded, out of everyone in the group I had the most experience with working with horses in liberty, meaning I had no physical contact with the horses, but I could get them to perform tricks and movements. I had travelled around the world for almost 4 years with the world renowned Cavalia horse show, training their horses and performing in the show.

'Ok, I think that's everything for now, why don't we go and exercise the horses and then we can start planning a little more to prepare us for the next few weeks' Luke said, standing up. We all followed suit and then headed downstairs into the stable area.

I grabbed the halters from the tack room for my own two horses, before heading down to their stalls. I slipped on Patriots halter, giving his forehead a scratch, then went next door and slipped on Soldiers halter before walking them both out , and heading down to the arena.
