Chapter Four

I looked at myself quickly in the small mirror at the office, making sure I looked somewhat presentable before we walked out to greet our new colleagues. I noticed Alice had already taken her hair out of her usual side braid and she had also covered her face with a light layer of foundation.

I smiled to myself, realising I had probably put the least amount of effort into my appearance choosing to just wear my usual riding breeches and a simple polo top.

I followed look down the small staircase leading out the the first row of stall of the stables, smiling at seeing my two babies sticking their heads out of their stalls, I gave them both a quick pat, before catching up with Luke and the others.

I refrained from putting my sunglasses on once we reached outside, and looked up to see Terrence approaching us.

' Nice to see you all again' Terrence said, stepping forward with a slight nod of his head to acknowledge all of us. 'This is Sebastian and Carol' he said motioning to the two people standing behind him, they both looked a little uncertain about thier new surroundings.

Sebastian looked between the 5 of us, 'Can't wait to work with all of you' he said, his glance swept over us, before the landed on me, and he smiled.

Carol just nodded along, choosing to focus mainly on Terrence who was standing just in front of her still.

' I'm Luke, and this is Jacob and Jocelyn' Luke said, pointing toward us, 'We're going to be the main 3 running the boot camp for the next fortnight, so if you have questions for any of us don't hesitate, we're here to help you both learn as much as possible before filming starts'

'Thanks you, we both can't wait to stat working with all of you and of course the horses' Sebastian said, with a smile, replying for both himself and Carol,who seemed to be bored with everything already.

'If you want Terrence we can head up to the office, and discuss the final schedule for filming, whilst Joss and Jacob give a quick tour of the stables and then Sebastian and Carol can meet their respective equine partners' Luke said, gesturing toward the stables behind us.

My eyes darted toward Sebastian, he seemed to be pretty excited about being here, and working with everyone, I just hoped he would be a pretty open and willing student when it came to actually working with our horses, particularly my own two geldings.

'Sounds great' Terrence nodded, 'are you both alright with that?'

Sebastian nodded and Carol shrugged in response, we all turned to head into the stables before separating into our respective groups once we reached the staircase. I turned to face Sebastian and Carol, realising Amber and Alice hadn't been properly introduced.

'This is Amber and Alice by the way, they are part of the team here, they are our head grooms, they help us get the horses ready in the morning for training and then during filming they'll be helping us with general care and respective scene work' I said, gesturing toward the two younger girls, I smiled to myself seeing Alice quickly flick her hair before Sebastian turned to smile at her.

'Then what do you and Jacob here do' Carol asked, making me take a step back, she hadn't spoken to anyone yet.

I smiled toward her, looking to Jacob for help, before I ended up responding, 'Jacob and myself are in charge of training the horses, and working with Luke to ensure any of the horses on property are ready for use on set, and now we'll be working with you during your boot camp sessions'
