" She hung up on me." Gabriella frowned and looked down. I'm still confused though. I mean, isshe joking? " Gabriella, tell me you're freakin' joking me." I tried to laugh. Please tell me she's joking... Please! "I messed up big time, didn't I?" She smiled weakly. What does she mean?
" Just tell me if you were lying or not." I said firmly. "I lied." Gabriella admitted. "Oh thank god..." I sighed in relief. "But why did you say that?" I asked. "Because... I don't know! My mind went blank! It was either I have to live with being forced to date those guys or just liking a friend and-- and--" She looked troubled.
" Yeah but you chose a girl friend instead of a guy friend... If you chose a guy then that would be less shocking." I explained. Not that I have anything against lesbians-- I don't! At all. "I don't have much guy friends... I mean-- I only got you." She shook her head.
Why didn't she pick me instead? I know it's an awkward question but... Really, why not me? "So what are you gonna do now? You can't just take back what you said to Talyah... That would confuse her more."
" I know... Crap! I messed up!" She grunted. " What were you thinking!?" What she did was really... weird and kinda stupid. "I wasn't thinking..." She sighed. " That's the point!" Gabriella rolled her eyes. "I don't really know how I could help you..." I sighed. I want to help her but I'm not sure how I could.
" That's it. I completely lost a friend." She shrugged and frowned. "Don't say that... If she's a real friend she would understand." I smiled and hugged her. I've never been in her position though. "This time's different. I screwed things up." She rested her head on my chest. Then I freed her.
We didn't talk for awhile and just kept thinking of what to do. Chabby was playing and meowing. "I know! Let's go somewhere." I suggested. I stood up and pulled her hand. " I don't feel like going anywhere. I've got a load of things that I need to sort out." Gabriella shook her head. It's because she feels bad, I know, but she has to loosen up a bit, right?
" Please? Just to take your mind out of those things." I smiled. Gabriella sighed. " Fine. Where to?" She forced a smile. " Anywhere," I shrugged. We chuckled.

" You know, I don't like seeing you upset." I said while I still kept my eyes on the road. She chuckled. " I'm not." Gabriella looked out the window. I knew she was still upset. " Don't lie. It's written all over your face. You're still upset about what happened to Talyah,"
" Obviously. I just don't know what to do." She admitted. " Where exactly are we going?" Gabriella finally asked. " I don't know. Where do you want to go?" I shrugged then asked. "Where are your friends at?" She asked.
I've met a few guys last week. Turns out we all study at the same school. I'm not sure if Gabriella would like to know them since they're guys. " Uh-- They're at the skate park, I think." They asked me awhile ago if I wanted to hang out at the skate park but I said no since I wanted to stay with Gabby.
" Okay then let's go there. I wanna met them." She nodded. " Uhm.. Are you sure? They're all guys."I hesitate for awhile. "Oh. Well I'm sure they're nice like you... If not, then you should stay away from them." She said in a warning tone. " Sheesh.. You sound like my aunt." I joked.
" Whatever. Shut up and take me there and I'mma see if those dudes are-- I don't know... I'll just see if they're 'okay'." She shrugged. " See now this is the Gabriella I know." I laughed. " Quit it, Chazzy! Just take me there..." Gabriella said. " Fine, fine.." I tried not to laugh. " I think you know some of them." I nodded.
