* After two weeks *
- Chaz -
Okay... So two weeks of summer school is over. Just another week and school will officially start.
Well, in the past few weeks Gabriella and I have been getting along pretty well. Now a days our friendship grew more deeper. She's been less of a 'bad girl' lately... She's been nice to me, actually. Joking around, having fun with each other... Yeah. The awkward thing is--- I'm starting to like her. Like, really like her...
Sometimes I even find myself thinking of her! And then there goes that stupid smile that forms on my face when she looks at me. And every time she asks me to hang out with her I get all nervous and excited. Ugh!
I love how she's being honest with me... One time, she told me "I love your eyes..." after that I couldn't even answer, I mean-- What in the world should I answer, right?! So she kissed me on the cheek and laughed. I know it was just one friendly kiss but it made my day. I was speechless after that.
Gabriella's comfortable with me being around lately. She's with me the whole day. Everyday. Twenty-four seven. Even during the night, we usually talk and sit on the tree branch between our windows. Sometimes she asks me to sleep with her because she couldn't sleep... Nothing happens, promise!
She still gets mad at me for some reasons though... But it wears off easily. But it doesn't happen always. And she even told me that I was her 'best guy friend' the very first one, she said. I feel like the luckiest guy on earth! In short, we became best friends and I'm starting to like Gabriella. I do hope she feels the same way... But I know that she doesn't. And she won't, sadly.
Someone knocked at my door. " What?!" I yelled and stood up from my bed." Chaz!!" I recognize her voice. Gabriella. I quickly opened the door for her at once. " Hey," I grinned. See what I mean?! I have this goofy smile when I see her. Gabriella says it's cute though. I hate it when it's ust 'cute'. "Hey, umm... Could you help me get some clothes?" Gabriella asked. How could I say 'no'? "Okay, sure." I nodded.
" Aren't you gonna ask why?" She placed her hands on her hips and tried to look angry which made her look cuter. " Okay, why?" I finally asked. " Because Talyah set me up on a date with a stranger again.." She sighed and collapsed on my bed. I gulped. What if she ends up liking that guy?! Nah.. Impossible.
" So why are you dressing up for it?" I asked and sat next to her. " Because I want to lead him on and drop out." She laughed. " I still don't like guys..." Gabriella shook her head. " Hey, I'm a guy." I said defensively and laughed. " Yeah, but you're okay. Other guys are not okay." She explained. That kinda made me smile.
" Let's go! I only have like two hours left!" She said and stood up. " Two hours? We've got a lot of time..." I nodded and relaxed on my bed. I crossed my arms behind my head and leaned on the pile of pillows. " Get up! I wanna go now!" She tried to yank me off the bed.
" Relax.. You've got a lot of time left." I chuckled. Gabriella gave in and lay down beside me. She hugged me tight and looked up. " Look at me," She commands and pulled my chin down." What?" I laughed. She eusually does this and I usually lift her chin up since she tends to look down whenever I talk to her. " I really love your eyes... Can we - like - switch eyeballs or something?!" She asked sarcastically. I laughed. How am I supposed to respond to that?!
" I love your big brown eyes too..." I whispered and caressed her cheek. Her smile faded and she looked away. See this is why I lift her chin often. She always looks away everytime I look into her eyes. Gabriella told me she didn't like me making the 'moves' on her... " Sorry.. Erm. Let's go get you a dress." I cleared my throat. " Sure. Let's go." We stood up.
