Marauder Preferences

First Date ✔

James:

You and James walked into Hogsmeade with the Marauders following behind. Yours and James' hands still intertwined. You looked over at James who was smiling like an idiot.
"C'mon, (y/n), wanna go into Zonko's and ditch these guys?" James whispered in your ear. You looked at the three boys behind you out of the corner of your eye. And nodded. You walked into the joke shop, helping James find things to do playful pranks on Sirius, and some for Severus. Then you walked to Three Broomsticks. You had ditched the boys in Zonko's because they were trying to help Sirius and too focused on that you and he slipped out quickly.
"You look very beautiful today." James said as you sat down at a table. You looked at him.
"Really?" you chuckled. James' face flushed.
"Isn't that what you're supposed to say on a date? Aren't you supposed to compliment your date?" he asked with a nervous chuckle. You shrugged.
"I suppose, I've never been on a date in my entire life, so I wouldn't know. But thank you, you look nice as well." You said with a sweet smile, which he returned.
You ordered two butter beers and just talked about nothing really. Your date was full of jokes, stories, and laughter. You helped James plan some pranks, talked about your families, teachers that you disliked, students that got on your nerves.
You and James were walking back to the school, holding hands, laughing. When you heard Sirius yelling after you guys.
"James! You ditched us! We're your best friends and you ditched us! You dick!" Remus came running up, panting.
"I tried to stop him, I tried to let him know that you guys were on a date, but he wouldn't listen." He said clenching his side. James laughed.
"Sirius, I don't bother you when you're with girls, so don't bother me. But you guys can walk back with us." he said squeezing your hand, you giggled.
You and the marauders walked back, with even more laughter, more jokes, Sirius tripping and taking Remus down with him, you crying from laughing so much. You went back to the common room and you were going to the girls dorm to go to bed.
"Goodnight, (y/n)." James said kissing your hand. You giggled.
"Goodnight, James. We should do this again sometime." You said kissing his cheek and walking up the stairs.
"OH I PLAN TO!" James yelled up to you. You laughed and collapsed on your bed, the sweet memories of today replaying in your head.
