I can explain

OK

here's the legitimate excuse: I have a concussion.

I couple of months ago I was doing a flying vault onto my horse, who is very big might I add. On my way up I hit her side with my boot, right where I would when asking for a canter transition. She, being an amazing horse, pick it right up and immediately went to the edge of the ring. If I were to be riding her normally this would have made me very happy because when I first got her she didn't know a simple transition, or to go to the outside of the ring unless I asked her not to, but in this case I was not. I was still hanging off the side of her, mid mount, when she got to the edge and my head slammed against the wall. Then I fell off (bruising my butt and getting major whiplash). Me being a stubborn rider and not wanting to end my lesson there, got back on and didn't tell my trainer about my headache.

The next day I had a show. Lily (my horse) was fabulous and we got first in our jumper class and in our EQ class (I don't expect you to know what this is I was just super proud of her). Anyway, at the end of the day they do games you can participate in, so I decided to take her into a game that required you to gallop to the end of the ring, get off, and sprint back with your hose following you. When we went in the ring Lily was amazing, but as I was doing a flying (I know.. there's that word again...) dismount I tripped and landed under her. Luckily I rolled away fast enough that she didn't step on me, but in the process banged my head a lot. Once again, being a stupid idiot, I didn't tell anyone about it.

A couple days later at school I was doing my math when I got an overwhelming headache, and I couldn't concentrate at all. I almost blacked out, but I made it to the nurse and she made me lay down, and gave me some medicine. Of course I went to the hospital, and they concluded that a severe concussion, and there could be bleeding in my brain. Luck, once again, was on my side and there was no brain bleedage.

Sadly for the past few month I have been under careful watch, and have not been aloud to use any screens, read, listen to music through headphones, and for the most part think. The worst part is I haven't been able to ride. Finally my concussion has started to get better, but I still can't do most of the things I said above. I have been permitted a certain amount of "screen time" each day, so I figured you guys deserved an explanation.

This story will probably not be continued anytime soon. I am very behind on school work and need to focus everything on getting back on track. Being in mostly high level  or AP classes my work load right now is crazzzyyyyyyyy, I literally missed over ten tests, and I'm still not aloud to do over 20 minutes of school work each day. I still have a concussion so it's hard for my to focus, or think to hard, and I am struggling right now to write this, you can imagine how horrifying school is.

pleeaasseee forgive me!

I'm super sorry.....

LOVE,

Ally :*
