* I'm the Chosen One... Again? *
"Archer McHottie?" I gasped. "Now's there's a logical and reasonable explanation why I felt irresistibly attracted to you!"
His eyes softened, and I stared at his lips. The lips that I had kissed not long ago.
Who cares if he was a werewolf.
"My mate," he growled.
"I love you," I whimpered.
"Mate," he growled again.
"Oh God." Opportunity-for rolled her eyes. "Please, how long have you guys even known each other?"
"Our souls are intertwined," he whispered and took a step closer to me. "I've known her since the beginning of time. We are mates." His muscles rippled as he did so. Did I mention he was shirtless? His abs glinted in the light from the tent, and I just wanted to lick them.
Yep. Lick them.
Like an ice-cream.
"Wow." Opportunity-for put a hand to her ear sarcastically. "What's that I hear? An excuse to not develop a proper romantic relationship and make it 'true-love' over the space of a few days? Yep. That's what I'm hearing."
"You're just a jealous bitch!"
"Not this again... Anyway. This is irrelevant. We have to get down to business." Opportunity-for looked over to Archer McHottie, (whose eyes roamed all over my body, I might add) and raised her brows. Startled, he glanced at her, saw her glaring, and shook his head.
"Okay. Mary Sue, there was a reason we kidnapped you, other than the fact that you're my mate and I'm madly in love with you. This is serious. Have you ever heard of fairy's?"
I choked out a laugh. "Wait, fairy's?"
He nodded, completely serious. Both of their faces were completely devoid of any humour, and I studied them. Were they actually serious?
"Yes. Fairy's," Opportunity-for snapped. "Have you ever been in contact with or been with a fairy?"
"I'm pretty sure Roberto LoveTriangle was a fairy," I said slowly.
Archer McHottie frowned. "Who?"
Wait, but hadn't Archer known Roberto LoveTriangle? They were sitting next to each other at the cafeteria and were talking... but then I remembered the strange light that had come from Roberto LoveTriangle. He must have enchanted everyone to forget.
"There was a guy at school," I said. "I think he might have wiped everyone's memory."
Archer swore, and looked to Opportunity-for. "We're in deeper shit then we first thought."
She nodded, biting her lip. Slutty bitch. "And this idiot is the only one who can save us all."
"What?" I asked, too dazed to yell at her for calling me an idiot. She's the slutty bitch around here.
Archer shook his head gravely. "There has been a war between the fairy's and the werewolves for centuries... except something is different."
I looked around. "What's different?"
He sighed. "You're different. You're the one who's going to save us all."
"Um. I thought I did that a few chapters back?"
"No you didn't," Opportunity-for snapped. "All you did was press a stupid damn button. Becoming the chosen one isn't pressing a button. The chosen one is a responsibility only for the worthy. The special one in the generation. The one with the power, the leader ship skills, the awesomeness, the character development..."
I frowned. "Pressing the button definitely sounds easier."
Authors Note: Yay! Guess what... the next chapter is in Archer McHottie's point of view! Thinking of doing a quicker update next week... maybe.
Can you guys all do me a favour? I posted a 'welcoming' chapter because I didn't previously have one, added an extended summary and made some cool character banner things with ridiculous quotes and gifs and stuff. Could you maybe check it out and show some love? Thank you!
