I rise from the mattress, holding my throbbing head in agony. I had way to many drinks last night and I'm now starting to feel it. I don't know what I was thinking, drinking so heavily like that. I guess you can say I was in my feelings and I wouldn't blame you, because I was. I make my way to the bathroom, squinting my eyes from the harsh light which caused my headache to worsen. I decide to turn it off.
After using the restroom, I wash my hands and face brushing my teeth afterward. As I slide my feet into my slides, I pull the covers up to my mom's neck. She's sleeping peacefully and I don't want to wake her. I make my way out to the kitchen. I witness Teddy out on the balcony talking on the phone, Adrian is laid out snoring on the couch. It's going on 9:00 and the nigga still sleep. Well I'm use to being up this early.
I take a glass out the cabinet, retrieving the orange juice after. I seen the Advil so I pop two pills, guzzling them down after. Teddy returns inside the suite sitting down on the couch, I sit beside him.
"So wassup?" I sigh.
"Avant isn't too far the captain said. He's living in his father's mansion across town, it's empty in the night. We also found out that he owns a brothel that he checks up on or talk business at." He explains. I nod and sip on my orange juice as I cross my legs.
"Wait, his father owned this brothel too?" Teddy shrugs.
"It could be possible. Gavin started the war between his own people, ain't no telling what was going on in his head."
"So how are we going to get him?" I question.
"First we gotta find Avant's place, see what his plans are. Then we come up with a plan for the attack, but we can't just move in. We have lay low, if he's sees us then we have to get ready for war." Teddy says, laying his weapons on the table. I raise a brow, looking at all the guns that can cause Avant harm. He killed my father you know, why not give him the same pain.
I hear the bedroom door open, turning my attention to my mother who yawns. She makes her way to the kitchen, pouring her self a cup of coffee.
"Good morning." She yawns again, sitting down next to me. Teddy and I say it back as I lay my head on her shoulder. Adrian groans, turning over as he puts the pillow over his head. I guess we're making too much noise.
"How did y'all sleep?" My mom questions. I shrug.
"Ok, I guess." I mumble.
"I ain't sleep at all. This little nigga was snoring half the night, not to mention talking in his sleep." Teddy scoffs. My mom bursts into laughter as I laugh a little. My headache is starting to ease up but it's still there.
"Sa'Eed use to talk in his sleep. I would wake his ass up. I use to hold his nose and he wake up quick like he drowning." We all laugh as Adrian groans stirring in his sleep.
"You might as well wake that ass up boy." I tell him. Adrian sighs, turning over to face us.
"My fucking head hurt b." He hisses.
"Watch your mouth in front of the ladies kid." Teddy sternly demands, standing to his feet. Adrian smacks his lips, sitting up as I hand him my orange juice. He thanks me, making his way to the kitchen.
"Y'all hungry?" Teddy questions, grabbing his keys off the nightstand.
"Yes. You mind if I go with you?" My mom questions. He shakes his head no with furrowed brows.
