Elsa's POV
"Rise and shine!" A loud voice woke the lot of us up. "Good morning!" I yawned and stretched. I saw Tiana and Naveed at the door, smiling widely.
"Morning already?" Anna asked sleepily, her hair was a total mess.
"How much time do we have before going to the school?" Kristoff asked.
"More than enough." Tiana replied.
We quickly woke up the rest who didn't hear the wake up call. My eyes widen when I saw Jack wasn't here.
"Tiana, did Jack go out early?" I whispered to her.
"Jack? I didn't see him at all. I think he did." Tiana said.
That answer wasn't enough to stop the worrying. What if Jack didn't come back at all since last night? What if something had happened to him? Where is Jack? I couldn't shake the feeling off that Jack was in danger.
Jack, where are you?
"Say, where is that frost boy?" Bunny looked around.
"Jack? Oh my, where is he?" Tooth asked.
"Maybe he's already waiting outside?" North suggested.
But when we were all ready, waiting for Cleo, Ethan, Darrel, Isabelle and Aidan, Jack was no where to be found. Where is he? He's getting me really worried!
"Uh... There's anyone know how we're gonna smuggle Toothless into the library to activate this book?" Hiccup asked. "Anyone one of you know any invisibility spells?"
"Nope, but Bunny may be able to help." Tooth said.
"Me? What can I do? It's not like I have a magic wand to make this dragon become invisible." Bunny looked at her.
"She means use your tunnels." North explained.
"Mate, that's not gonna work. I tried that the minute we got here, I thought the tunnels would be able to bring us home, but it didn't work." Bunny replied.
"Yes it can, all you need to do is reactivate your powers first." Eugene said.
"Wait, if that works, does that mean that you can go home straight away?" Rapunzel asked.
"Without needing to assemble the items?" Merida added.
"Is it possible for a shortcut?" Anna blurted out.
All of us were silent. Was it true? Can you really find your way home that fast?
"But we haven't explored this place yet! That's the main reason all of us crossed the gateway, right?! Why go through the gateway if you wanna go home immediately?" Olaf protested.
All I could do was smile, Olaf's positivity never fails to amuse me.
"I honestly don't think there's anything worth exploring here. We've seen enough, and some are on the verge of dying. No place should be worth this much trouble." Hiccup stated.
"But they said that this place would change back to the way it was if we help them! Wouldn't you want to explore that? Wouldn't you want to help?" Olaf continued.
Olaf's words must have inspired us. I never thought one snowman could do so much. I never thought I created a snowman like Olaf. My powers will forever be a mystery on the wonders it can do. There really is beauty in it.
"Hello!" All of us turned to the voice. It was Darrel, waving away. "Good to see you're all ready. The rest should be coming any minute now."
"Darrel, did you happen to see Jack anywhere? He's missing." North asked.
"Missing?!" Darrel asked. "I didn't see him at all, sorry. I hope where ever he is, he doesn't attract too much attention to himself."
Jack's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, what happened? My eyes were still adjusting to the light. The last thing I remember was I felt a blow on my head, it still hurts. Where am I? I tried getting up but I found my hands tied above my head.
"Um... Hello? Anyone?" I called out to the empty room. I grabbed the chains and tried to freeze them, hoping that I can snap them when they're solid.
"Don't waste your energy on that..." An eerie voice echoed in my ears.
"Who are you? What is this? What have you done to me? Show yourself!" I demanded.
"Now then Jack, surely that isn't how you welcome an old friend?" The voice asked. I swear I heard that voice before, but I can't pin it with my head still in pain.
I saw a shadow in front of me. "P-Pitch?" I asked.
"The one and only." The shadow morphed into a person, Pitch Black.
I froze at the sight of him. Great, I just blew everyone's cover. Now he knows we're here, but how am I gonna warn the rest? How am I gonna get out of here in the first place?
"You shouldn't be wandering around at night, Jack Frost. You'll never know the nightmares awaiting you." Pitch smirked at me.
"Let me go!" I yelled.
"Why should I? What's in it for me?" Pitch asked.
"Justice." I simply replied.
"Why would I want that? You're powerless, and I'm not." Pitch smirked.
I felt an immediate change in me. I felt an intense pain, more of my powers were fading. How much time do I have left?
"That's right, just wait till all of your powers fade, just wait till you die!" Pitch shouted. "You'll never recover your powers, my gang already destroyed the solution."
I gulped. What is Hiccup's book then? What if we managed to activate the book, would it lead us to a trap instead? Were Pitch's words true? Or is he just tormenting me? Or maybe, Pitch didn't know there was another solution?
"Cut the chit chat, what do you want with me?" I demanded.
"My long waited revenge." Pitch replied and promptly kicked me in the stomach.
