Chapter 20

Hiccup's POV

With everyone present, Jack was nowhere in sight. We couldn't wait any longer because the five need to go to school or they'll be late. I couldn't shake the feeling that this book isn't going to solve our crisis that easily. Nothing has ever been easy. Oh no, what if it's another riddle?! I've had enough of those!

"Since I have no powers, I don't think I should go." Merida stated.

"I think only Elsa, Olaf, North, Bunny, Tooth, Sandy, Rapunzel and Eugene should go. There's eight of you, it'll be easier." I suggested and patted Toothless' back. "Then finally Toothless. He's too hard to sneak in without drawing too much attention."

"And the rest of us can go find Jack." Kristoff added.

"Great idea." Anna nodded. "He better have a good explanation when we find him, he's got all of us worried sick!" 

"So Aidan, lead the way please?" Tooth asked.

"Most certainly." Aidan smiled. "How about we take you guys through the back of the school? It'll be easier to get to the library."

I walked over to Elsa and handed her the book. "Be safe." I smiled at her. "Good luck to you all." I couldn't help but stare at her mesmerising blue eyes, she was really beautiful. 

"Thank you, good luck to you too." Elsa smiled back, taking the book. It took me a second to release my grip. I was still in a trance just looking at her. I can't stop myself. 

"All right, let's get to it!" Eugene put his fists into the air. 

I waved goodbye to them as they headed towards Alternia High School. I silently prayed for all of them, but mostly Elsa. Please be careful and come back safe. 

"Honestly, I wished I could go with them, I wanna find out how they get their powers back!" Anna confessed. 

"We have our own matters to attend to. Come on then, where should we start? Hiccup?" Merida turned to me. 

I snapped out of my thoughts. This is embarrassing. "I have no clue where to start." I blurted out.

"Come on, let's think. If you were Jack, where would you go?" Kristoff asked.

"Kristoff, we're in another world, we have no clue where he might have in mind!" Anna replied.

"How about we just explore around first? Maybe Jack left a clue." Merida said.

"That's a good idea. We kinda look like we belong here, right? Well, except for you, Hiccup. Maybe we need to find you some normal looking clothes." Kristoff pointed at me. 

"To me, it's normal. I'm a Viking, after all." I said. "I'll just keep a low profile!"

"Let's go in pairs. I'll go with Kristoff, you go with Merida. Meet back here in an hour." Anna said quickly. "Ok? Settled! Let's go Kristoff!" 

Anna didn't give us a moment to react. She said it so fast and quickly pulled Kristoff away. Kristoff waved goodbye at us. I looked awkwardly at Merida. We shared a moment of silence. 

"Well then, let's go lad!" Merida gave me a nudge. "We got a person to find."

"I wish there was a map for this place." I muttered as I walked along.

"Just go where you think you should." Merida smiled at me.

Merida's POV

I'm actually with Hiccup! Oh my gosh, I am trying to look as normal as possible. I look like a total weirdo right now, don't I? Darn, what's going on Merida? You're changing so much ever since you met this boy. I can't explain myself. Ah I can't stand it, I am in love with Hiccup!
