'Get the makeup team in here and make sure the lighting cast a summer glow over the room.' Lian told Nicole as she walked through the room which they had set up for interviews.

'Got it.' Nicole answered as Lian gave her the clipboard and walked into her make shift office.

'Kyle!' Lian shouted and a slim blond guy rushed into the office.

'Kyle, what happened to the computer I asked you to set up in here and the graphics board?' Kyle looked at Lian with a confused look.

'Um well I kinda set it up in another room.' The computer technician admitted shyly his face all red as he bowed his head. He maybe a tech whiz but his brain seldom worked quickly on anything else.

'Sure Kyle, lead me to it.' Lian could not shout at him the guy was just not built for 'people' issues.

Lian had to transfer her office to the room where Kyle had set up the computers. It took another wasted thirty minutes but if she had moved the computers that would have taken at least 90 minutes. Time management was crucial in her line of work.

Finally things were ready and Lian was pleased that they had set up the space for the next few days.

'Winnie van Toure, thanks for accepting our offer.' Lian greeted the eclectic designer. The petite man with dark hair and oversized sunglasses that masked his eyes over his heavily made up face smiled at her as he took her hand and kissed the back of it.

'It is always my pleasure my little Lulu.' The designer greeted using his nickname for her. 'You look stunning Lulu but a bit stressed is there no man warming your bed at night?'

Lian waved her left hand up in front of them. Her cushion cut diamond ring glowing in the light.

'Ah then tonight maybe I invite you to my room, Gustav and I don't mind having another pair to spice things up, what do you say?'

'Um Winnie you know me well, I am a one man girl, I don't think I have the stamina for both you and Gustav.' Lian laughed as she spoke and Winnie's eyes lit up as he smiled deviously.

'Come on Lulu, we are old friends why not give it a try.... you never know until you try.' Winnie insisted and Lian cringed internally.

The thought of seeing the little Belgian who was pushing 80 and his 6'5" 24 year old lover in bed was not a sight she wanted ingrained in her brain for life.

'Let's see how the day goes?' Lian conceded hoping to drop the subject.

'If you change your mind my dear, you know my room number.' Lian smiled as she escorted the designer to the interview room breathing a sigh of relief as he spotted his designs on the projector and his energies were focussed elsewhere.

Lain was hungry and tired by the end of the afternoon. There was one more catwalk presentation and interview planned so she could not pack up shop as yet. She loved the hustle and bustle of fashion week but the events and tight schedules could drain a lot out of a person.

'Lian, you have a visitor.' One of the staff came to tell her just before she was due to eat a sandwich that had been sitting on her desk for the last two hours.

'Who is it?' Lian asked not expecting anyone at the moment.

'I don't know but she said she is here to speak with you.' The assistant Gerry said.

'Get her name and tell her I am busy.' Lian instructed as she closed her eyes and sighed. She made her way to her chair and started up her computer. She had a few emails she needed to reply to before she continued.
