15 facts about me

Hello! I was tagged by durmsteiger and ohbeckhams for this tag, like a while ago. I was initially going to do it somewhere else, but I thought, why not here!

I'm going to tag some people here now, if you've already done it, then I'm just stupid and forgetful or I haven't read it, and you can link it down below or something, that'd be fun! Oh and honestly, if you want to talk, send me a message here, because I love to talk to people!

1. I'm 20 years old. And I feel so old, considering most of the people I talk with on here are quite a few years younger, and are mostly still in high school. But well, who cares! I like to talk to everyone really. I still feel old though.

2. I study Art History at the University of Groningen (Netherlands). Took me some time to get there, since I was sick since I was 14, dropped out of high school and then went back after having done a course in Graphic Design. Then got high school level degrees (one in 2015 and one in 2016). I basically did 4 years of high school in 2 years, which was pretty heavy, and meanwhile I was still sick (Lyme Disease). Fun times. But now I'm in university and I'm super excited for it to start. It starts on September 5th.

3. I got into football and the players back when I was 13/14. I wrote fanfiction like since I was 12 or something, but I wrote it with pen on paper. VERY OLD SCHOOL. I still have some cringeworthy stuff hanging around from 2010. Actually, I'm publishing on wattpad here now about Fernando Torres, that needs major editing, but I enjoy it so much, but it's so bad, but it's so good at the same time. I kind of stuck to the German football team since like 2013/2014-ish. I also had a period in time where I wrote gay/slash fanfiction about bands and all that. I don't recommend you to read that, it's published on my deviantart. It's very bad. Oh and Jonas Brothers fanfiction.

4. I have some other hobbies too, aside from writing fanfiction and fangirling about football players (surprise). I like to watch TV series on Netflix a lot and I have like a ton of favorites. Also I write letters to penpals all over the world. I have an instragram dedicated to that, not that I upload pictures of my mail art too often on there anymore, you can still check it out at "sandrasletters". Besides that, I do art, I also have like 2 planners that I use for journalling and adding bits and bobs and such. I used to read a lot too, but for some reason, the 2 years in high school I did were killing for my reading mojo, that every book I attempt to pick up feel like literature and horror and pain and hell to me. So yeah. Still waiting for my reading flow to return to me, preferably before uni starts.

5. I LOVE ANIMALS. Like probably all the animals in the world (except for wasps and mosquitos, they have no reason on this planet). I have a cat and a dog and they're basically my babes. I also love birds (or as I like to call them 'birbs'), bees, all the cats i see on the street and basically also all the dogs I see. Oh how much I love animals. I also cringe when I have to cut meat for dinner. It makes me cry lowkey. I also don't buy from make up brands that test or do anything with animals of some sort. Though, I'm not a vegetarian or vegan (yet??)

6. Not surprising when you've read the second fact: I love art. Like, so much that I'd ended up picking Art History as my major. I considered studying languages at first, and I actually applied for that too, but I ended up cancelling that, since I didn't know whether I wanted to spend my life as a "spanish pro" or whatever language I was going to pick. Now I'll end up being an Art Historian, plus doing a minor in a language like Italian or Spanish probably. Maybe German. Germany has some GREAT art movements too too. Think about Romanticism, die Brücke, der blaue Reiter etc. I'm always willing to talk art yo.

7. I speak Dutch, English and German. I also know a hint of French, but that was from years ago when I was merely a small Sandra. I still am a small Sandra, but I meant, young Sandra. Also when I graduated, most of the German disappeared from the back of my head down the drain, so I should probably practice more, because it's such a lovely language that looks so much like Dutch. I also wish to speak Russian, Spanish, Italian and probably Czech and Polish at some point in my life. But who knows. Not me. Will I have time? Who knows.

8. I love music, not so much recently, since I've been dealing with major headaches daily for the past 2 weeks, but well, usually I enjoy music. My favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold, they're my babes. I wrote fanfiction about them too, and after I saw them live, it felt really awkward to write slash fanfiction about the members, but hehe, no one cares. I also enjoy a lot of other rock bands: three days grace, sick puppies, skillet, hollywood undead, apocalyptica, daughtry and like probably 20 more. I also like pop music and classical music. Really I'm not so picky. I listen to whatever that I like whatever genre it is.

9. My favorite TV show is Downton Abbey, that I love with my life and that I've seen 4 times over again. It's so good. I love Matthew so much. He's bae. I am actually watching it with my boyfriend now. I think he's enjoying it, but I'm not so such lol. We're at season 4 now, so he still has 2 seasons to go before it's over. I collect DVDs of good TV shows too though. Other shows that I liked: Bomb Girls, Grand Hotel, Sense and Sensibility, Call the Midwife and probably a lot more. I usually watch historical british shows. But I've also watched Suits, Pretty Little Liars, Degrassi and shows like that. Netflix is my best friend.

10. I'm terrible at remembering things. If someone tells me to do something, chances are that I will forget in like 2 minutes. It's great. I'm good at remembering other things for example. I'm great at quoting books, lyrics, also good at remembering when people borrowed the slightest amount of money, or the netflix password of my boyfriends account. (very handy when he didn't remember it, and I did).

11. I've recently been with a plane for the first time! It was a super small trip but it was very exciting because me and my friend hadn't been on a plane and like we went to Bucharest, Romania, which was like 3 hours. But it was so much fun! I'm going to Italy with uni in January though! Going to check out some art in Florence. Very excited for that, since I love Italy.

12. As you read before, I'm in a relationship with a 24 year old (or is he 23). I had to check his facebook, but he's 23, and will be 24 later this year. Haha. Check out number 10. I also forget his birthday a lot. In my defense, he forgets mine a lot too, he actually found out that my birthday was on June 25th, and not on July 25th. And I found that out at my prom that was on June 14th, so he had like a week to find me a gift. (he gave me a DVD for my collection). Anyways, we've been dating for like 1,5 years or something, I kind of stopped counting after a year, cuz well whatever. But according to my calculations it's like 1 year and 6 and a half months or something now. Ah well.

13. Related to 12, I'm not very good with math and numbers. I've never been good with math. I had to decide what subjects I was gonna do back in 2014 or something and I was like hmm i could drop math. Which I could, but then they told me that I couldn't level up. So I had to do math, because I wanted to go to university. (there's like 3 high school levels here, and only the highest one grants you access to the university. And i first did the middle one, graduated from that, and then I did the highest one and graduated from that too, so now I have the access to uni). So math, was a disaster. I actually somehow passed that. I don't know how I did it.

14. Related to 13, lol. I didn't exactly pass my exams in one time and needed a resit for one subject. It was actually kind of funny, because my mother and I expected that I didn't pass and would have to re-do math or geography (my worst subjects), but INSTEAD I had to resit German lol which is one of my best subjects. Anyways I did that, got that grade from a 39% to a 61% which is still low for me, but no one cares, BECAUSE I PASSED ANYWAYS.

15. So there's quite a ton of stories that I have planned out, and some have been written out a bit too. So expect like 2 short stories and one longer one in the upcoming month or so. And let's celebrate that I've finished this Mario fanfiction and my Marco fanfiction, because I feel like a million bucks and I deserve a medal for this ok. I never finish anything. I'm trash like that.
