Chapter Four: School

I sat down at our lunch table in the cafeteria, Amber limped over to me and sat at the seat next to me.

Amber was attacked by the other team when we were playing dodge ball in P.E, a part of our team even used her as a shield!!! LIKE WHAT THE HECK TEAM!!!

In the middle of the game is when it got bad....she got hit on the face, which got her a mean black eye, I was really surprised her glasses didn't protect her eye.........

When she got the black eye, she was at her weakest, and everyone saw her weak, and well....they targeted her big time as an easy shot.
It got SO bad at the end I volunteered to be a shield for her, because she was basically hit everywhere!

A LOT of the kids got mad at me, including people from BOTH freaking teams!!!! My team was mad because now they couldn't use poor Amber as a FREAKING shield!!! And the other team, because they were just being bullies, targeting her!

One person from the other team, threw a ball so hard at my stomache, I fell backwards, into...Amber!
I snapped back into reality, and noticed two girls across from, Amber and i. I poked Amber 's shoulder, totally forgetting about P.E. I mouth, "sorry" to her. Then I gesture to the two girl sitting across from us.

Amber 's face turned emotionless, but I could see slight annoyance in her eyes, when I say to her, "Maybe we can find new friends! I mean, YOLO, right..?" I say to her with confidence in my voice. "Suree...whatever you want." Amber says to me, with a sarcastic tone.

I sigh, I was hoping Amber would have more enthusiasm about making new friends....but I guess not. "Hi.." I say to the two girls, sending them as short wave, with an awkward smile.
One of the girls smiles at us, and the other one just has an unfriendly smirk plastered onto her face.
"Alexis..I don't know if i-" Amber whispers to me, but was quickly cut off by the girl with the smirk, who said,"Hello..how are you, who are you guys?" Said the girl, smiling. Amber looked at me with an "don't you dare" face, I ignored her, thought I was also not so sure about the two girls, myself. They just had an weird vibe to them, like an uninviting vibe.

"I'm Riley, and this is Joselyn" Riley said to Amber and i. Then, Riley asked us, "Do you guys want to be friends?" Amber looked at me with a stern look, and mouthed, "NO." I ignored her, and said, to the two girls, "Sure!" Riley 's uninviting smirk came back.....

"I'll talk to you after school!" I say to them, smiling.

It was finally the end of school, I walked to the park right next to our school, looking for Joselyn, and Riley. They weren't there.....I was mad at them, but still waited to see if they would show up.

"Are you coming..?" Amber asks me, as her and Lizzy begin to walk to our neighborhood. "I'm gonna wait a little longer.." I say to them. Lizzy shrugs, and starts walking, Amber looks at me, sighs, then walks back to our neighborhood with her sister.

They still hadn't shown up after 1 and a half hours, I decided to walk back home..by myself. I was almost home, when o got a text from an unknown number it said, " Focus, and you will hear the wonders of the human mind."
I gasped out loud, THAT WAS THE SAME WORDS I SAW ON THE CEILING IN FIRST PERIOD!!!! D:
