Chapter Fourteen: Magic

"You shouldn't have told her.." I hear Clark whisper, my eyes flash open, as someone laughs. My eyes open, I look down and notice I am tied to the wall, and my glasses are gone making everything blurry, I'm also wearing a brown dress..? What the heck? I see a big smudge of purple is in front of me, I see a figure behind it, banging on it..it looks like Amber, I shake my head and sigh, I must be getting delusional, why would she be in Clark's mind, it makes no sense. I look down, and notice I'm wearing brown boots too? What the heck is up with all this brown stuff?! Suddenly voices whisper to me in my head, "you shouldn't have told her, you shouldn't have told her." They whisper, repeatingly saying the words over and over again, soon they are yelling, I start to cry because of the pain it is causing my head to throb violently. Clark laughs loudly, as I whimper in pain. He stops laughing then says, "What do we have here.." he says in annoyance. The purple smudge disappears and Amber appears..? What is she doing here? Quickly after the smudge dissappear purple lines point at her, lazers....
"Clark! Don't hurt her!"I shout, somehow knowing that is his plan, instead of taking me seriously he laughs at my attempt to protect Amber. At any other time, I would be annoyed, but I'm too busy worrying about Amber's life to be annoyed.Amber struggled in his mind hold for a while before giving up.Clark questioned me on Amber somehow being in his mind if I hadn't told her, yelling at the end. "I-i don't know." I squeak out, scared and confused. Clark stopped me and yelled, "You don't know! Then I'll make her tell me!!!" He shouts at me, shooting lazers at Amber, how could he!!!!! Amber screams at the pain of the lazers, "NO, STOP HURTING HER!!" I yell, worry clear in my trembling voice. Clark gives me a evil smirk before turning off the lazers, I quietly sigh a sigh of relief and look down. My hearing starts getting plugged and then Clark is shouting in my head, "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD HER LEXIE!!!!!!!" I cry as I look up and see Clark's mouth moving and Amber crying getting shot by lazers. Suddenly I regain my hearing to hear Amber try and guess where she was, she gets shot by a Lazer and screams out in pain, I shout out, "YOUR IN HIS MIND AMBER!" Before I could explain to her more, Clark put one of his Mouth mutes on me, which is a brown collar that controls when you can speak. My hearing becomes clogged as Clark whispers into my head, "none of this would have happened if you staying with me in Germany, Lexie.." I whimper, as I see Clark shooting Lazers at Amber again, I suddenly regain my hearing as Clark appears in front of me, "Now, how do you know her!?" He demands, "we're best friends.." I whimper out of breath. "Okay do you know any of her secrets?" He amusingly asks, I stay silent. He shocked Amber before making an blue orb appear out of thin air. Clark smirks at me before showing me the blue orb of Peyton and Amber, kissing..? "Has she even told you this?" Clark says. My mouth this wide opened, as he taps it as it turns to her hanging out with Riley, and Joselyn, then her partying?! I stare Amber, shocked and hurt. "She was laughing and having fun, while you were missing! That's sooo.. rude." Clark says, looking at Amber, she shakes her head, I sigh and say, "You never told me any of This stuff.." I say, the emotion hurt clearly showing in my cracking voice, I hold back tears, I thought she was my friend..I ask her why she did all that stuff when I was missing. Suddenly the mouth mute was transported onto Amber, Clark loads a gun besides her head, I struggle to get out of the chains, to save her. Clark whispers something to Amber, and she nods. "Amber, is Peyton your boyfriend?" I blurt out. She stutters out a no, before Clark pushes the gun harder again her head before she says, "Yes! We've been dating!" She shouts, scared. I look at her confused, as Clark smiles and removes the gun. Clark shows Amber a blue orb, it's of me hanging out with Riley and Joselyn, then me kissing Peyton, ewww!!!!! What the heck, none of that happened!!! As the fake image of me and Peyton together shows, Clark shows jelousy on his face but soon covers it up with amusement as Amber shoes me a hurt expression with a pinch of jelousy and anger. I shake my head at her, as Clark whispers, "Don't say anything unless you want her to die." He says coldly to me in my head, as she points the gun to Amber's head behind her back, showing no emotion. "Clark, please, no!" I shout back to him. "How did you do that?! You talked to me on my head? The only way you would be able to do that is if you had mind readin g powers?" He says to me in my head, I gulp. Clark laughs, and heads over to me, with a purple lazer, he smiles to me, before shooting me with the purple lazer. I feel a painful shock go through my body as u feel my skin being pricked everywhere. My head falls down, as I feel my body burn, Clark starts to say something but I scream out in pain before he could finish his sentence. My head jerks up as I feel myself no longer in control of my body and emotions. Lightning shoots out of each if my hands, as they bone off the black wall and break away the cuffs from my wrists. Lightning shot out of my hands uncontrolled me, Clark dodges one as it also strikes him in the face. And two, break away Amber's hand cuffs, she falls to the floor. I run to the glowing door with 'memories' labeled on it in Clark's Handwriting, I look back at Amber running towards me, and I yell, "Grab my hand, Amber!" As I see Clark running after us. Just as I also grab her hand, she trips, and Clark grabs her ankle, and starts dragging her back. "Clark, Stop!!!" I yell, before Clark hits her head with a brick and she passes out, I run to the door, fearing for my own life as I feel something hit my head, I fall onto the floor, black dots filling my vision as I pass out.

My eyes flutter open as I feel a pain in my shoulder, I look and see a needle in my shoulder connected to a tube that is draining yellow liquid out of my arm, but there's not a lot...yet. I gulp as I see Amber unconscious besides me a needle in her arm, with a tube draining yellow liquid out of her arm. I see Clark in front of me, reading a book.
"Clark." I say. He looks up at me, and smiles. "Finally your awake my darling." He says smiling, darling?! I ignore it and ask angery, "What are you doing to us Clark!" I shout, as I see Amber's tired eyes flutter open, as she murmers, "huh..whut is going on.?" She ask, looking around. "Glad you guys asked, I am, well..I guess since in 3 hours you won't remember having powers or having magic in your blood so, I can tell you. I'm draining the magic out of your blood, which gives you powers." He says, smiling, as if it was nothing. Amber and I give eachother panicked looks, as I ask him, scared, "d-dont you already have powers,
C-Clark?" I stutter out. "Yes, but with your powers I'll be even more powerful!" He says happily. "W-what will happen to us?" I gulp. He looks down at his nails showing no emotion, then says, "You'll be in a month coma, but that's about it." He says smiling as he inspects the magic draining from us, excitement clear in his eyes.
"But no worries you'll be in good hands." Clark says reassuringly, just looking at me, I hear Amber gulp.
