Summer Love

Chapter 16-

Currently at the hospital waiting to hear something from the doctors. Whether it be good or bad, I need to hear it. 

'I'm Sorry Ms. but your Aunt is dead.'  or 'It's not fatal, but her recovery time will be long' 

No, none of that. Just silence. 

The bitchy 40 year old nurse/secretary with a bad hair job at the front desk isn't going to help me figure out whats going on. 

I can't reach Harry either, I called him 3 times and sent him numerous texts which he hasn't responded to. I even tried to contact him through my head but our bond isn't that strong yet. 

'Harry'

'I Need you'

'Where are you?'

'I'm at the hospital'

'It's Julie she collapsed' 

'Please.. Hurry'

"Excuse me Ms.?" Oh! here comes a doctor

"Yes? Is there any news? Is my Aunt okay?"

"I'm afraid you might want to sit down for this"

"You see, uh your Aunt Julie collapsed after a blockage of blood flow through her brain, and a lack of either oxygen or blood can be quite fatal.. there was nothing we could do I'm sorry" 

The Doctor put a hand on my shoulder trying to provide some solace. But what was there to do? First my father, now my Aunt? 

My mother doesn't need me.

Harry doesn't want me.

I can't even breathe.

My lungs are caving in on my chest while all of these thoughts are running through my head when all of a sudden I hear

'Angel, I'll be right there'

'I care'

'I am here for you'

'I need you here'

'I want you here'

'I am just around the corner wait for me, don't go anywhere don't do anything harmful to yourself' 

And then I feel his hand glide against my back and the other wrap under my knees and pick me up and then I'm floating. 

This time, I'll be okay.
