Step Seven: Push Back The Memories

Parties wasn't Buttercup thing, she hates seeing drunken teenagers moving around, she hates hearing the crappy pop/rap music blare through the speakers. She also hates the girls trying to get laid or the boys trying to get the girl in a bed or the floor. Buttercup wanted to leave but with all the drinks in her hand and her senses getting dull only made her want to stay. So she put up with the crappy music, she put up with Butch getting handsy, all because she had that drink in her hand.

Buttercup only liked parties if it was with her friends, because Blossom and Bubbles would atleast dance with her, like a normal person. She wanted to punch Butch, for rubbing his hands up and down her sides, but she needed to break him. Buttercup sighed as she took another gulp and shook her head. The drink tickled her throat and she moved her hips along with Butch's.

She grabbed his neck and slowly moved her hips, Butch drunken body began to move along with her. He loosely grabbed her hips and pulled them to his, and she gulped as she moved with the music. The pop music blared in her ears as she felt Butch's lips on her neck, she moved her neck and closed her eyes.

Buttercup began to think about him, how he would hug her from behind. She thought about the secret kisses along her body from him, she thought about how he would shower her with gifts. She thought about all the thousands times he said that he loved her, she remembered the sweet messages he sent her at night for the morning. She began to think about how he was just kind and sweet to her, telling her everything she wanted to hear.

Buttercup widened her eyes as Butch tried to shove his hands in her pants, she shook her head and pushed him away. The drunk man looked at her as she shook her head and walked towards the front door, with tears dotted along her eyes. Buttercup walked out of the frat house and landed on the steps and covered her ears as she leaned against her knees.

She tried to shake him out of her mind, but she just couldn't. She fell in love with that jerk, she didn't notice the girls winking at him, she didn't notice how handsy he was with them. She didn't notice how flirty he was with them. Because whenever she would question him, he would just kiss her. Buttercup just wanted that fairy tale high school love, but instead she gotten a jerk with his gang to use her.

"Yo? Why you leave me in there all alone?" Butch asked as he sat next to Buttercup, hiccuping.

Buttercup sat up and shrugged her shoulders. "The music sucked," She replied as he chuckled and nodded.

He passed her his cup, with was half full, and she shook her head. Butch shrugged his shoulders as he drank the rest and stood up shakily. Buttercup raised her eyebrow towards him and saw he was swaying side to side as he stuck out his hand towards her.

"I know an awesome dinner, they have like the best burgers! And trust me, they're like better than Krabby Patties, because they ain't wet." He said as Buttercup raised her eyebrows and giggled at his drunken response.

She sighed as she stood up and he cheered as they walked down towards the street. She listened him to rant about the new episodes of Spongebob or talked about how much he missed Big Time Rush on tv. Buttercup liked the drunk side of Butch, she liked how calm he was and how childish he was.

After all, a drunken man always shows his true colors.

Butch fell on his face, and she laughed as he hugged the ground. She crossed her arms and saw Butch kissing the ground. She grimaced as he sat up and looked at her.

He gave her a lazy smile as he said, "The ground looked so pretty, I just had to give it some love? You know, pretty people are everywhere but this ground. She tops everyone here," He said as he swayed back as Buttercup rolled her eyes. "I think we should just stay here and take a small nap," He mumbled as Buttercup sighed and reached down to grab his phone, so she could call Blossom.

She texted her but felt a hand around her wrist, she looked towards him and saw Butch eyes was red, his eyes was dropping and he moved very sluggish. Buttercup licked her lips as Butch smiled.

"You know what?" Butch said with a hiccup as Buttercup took a deep breathe.

"What?" She asked.

"I wish I never broke her heart," He mumbled as Buttercup raised her eyebrow towards him.

"Broke whose heart?" She asked as he grabbed her face.

"This chick from high school," Butch hiccup as she raised her eyebrow but heard a car horn.

Buttercup turned and saw Blossom getting out the car. The two girls put Butch in the back, but Buttercup wondered about what Butch said. About how he broke some girl from highschool, and he didn't want too. Most heartbreakers never say that, because it's like a drug and they want more heartbreaks, because of the hookups. But he sounded so sad whenever he said it, which only made Buttercup wonder who it was.

"You know what? I like your skills," Butch said as he saw the girl look towards him with a confused face.

She gave a weird face as she walked towards him, "What are you doing here? Don't you and your buddies have some kind of drug deal?" She retorted as he chuckled and shook his head.

"Naw, that's next Friday," He joked as she rolled her eyes and he stuck his hands up. "Besides I see you around school, and I figured that you pretty cool to hang out with."

"I'm not going to have sex with you," She snapped as Butch chuckled and shook his head.

"No! I don't want that," He exclaimed as she rolled her eyes and pushed back her black hair and he sighed. "I just want a new friend, you know someone who I can brush up my soccer skills with, besides don't you want a jock friend? I mean your other friends don't really know sprts." He said as she sighed and shrugged her shoulders.

"Yeah, I guess so." She said as he flashed her a smile.

Butch gasped as he sat up, hitting his head on the bunk above him. His brother laughed at him as he rubbed his head and looked around the room. But if he only knew that the past was coming only more and more.
