Buttercup never felt so empty before, usually she could play off the pain and get over it by night. But she just couldn't seem to get over this, it was like she was missing a piece of her heart. Sure she sorta felt that Butch overreact, but then again she would've done the same if someone would have done that to her friends, but he didn't understand why she done it. It was because someone broken her and she doesn't want that to happen to others.

Was she a bad person? Buttercup had no idea what to say, so she just stayed in her dorm room. Not coming out, even for showers. Bubbles and Blossom complained that the room was becoming smelly, but Buttercup couldn't pull herself out of the bed. All she could remember the angry look in Butch's eyes.

The way he burst through the door, starting screaming at her. Buttercup'a body shook as she turned on her right side. She began to chew no her fingernails, her nervous habit, and closed her eyes. She wasn't tired but she wanted something to do, then think about Butch angry look, but it was implanted in her brain. Even if she blinked the angry face was right there, if she stared at something too long his face was there.

Anywhere and everywhere his face was there.

Buttercup groaned as she sat up, hitting her head on the ceiling. Buttercup mumbled some curse words as she shook her head and rubbed her forehead. Pain soar through her head as she chewed on her bottom lip, feeling blood burst from it.

She looked down at her green blanket and pursed her now bloody lips. Was it wrong to be feel regret about everything she done? After all the players she hurt, after all the people that got dragged along. No wonder Butch found out so quickly, almost every player was on her team , and Buttercup thought she could be smart about it.

Buttercup sighed as she shook her head. She gulped and rubbed her palms together and looked around the room. It's been three days since Butch confronted her, but it seemed like it was only yesterday that the whole ideal went on. She heard that Butch was sleeping around with other girls, and going to more parties and beginning to skip out on games. Buttercup choked back a sob, was it because of her?

She pulled her fist towards her eyes and tried to stop the tears but she couldn't. She allowed the fall so she could at least feel something than hopeless or numb. She knew what this feeling was, because she felt it whenever the player crushed her. Buttercup hated being played, she hated knowing that the guy that she trusted, the guy that she feel in love with, the one guy that made her feel like she was everything. Was the one who crushed her.

But she couldn't help to wonder if it was her fault that this happened? Was it karma, or God finally having enough of hearts broken from her. Buttercup didn't know what it was, but she did know that she hated the feeling that she has.

Step Eleven: Feel The Guilt

Buttercup took in a deep breath as she shook her head. She had no time to feel this feeling, they deserved that. They hurt innocent people, no matter what they done after what buttercup done they deserved every single ounce of pain. Buttercup put her hands over her mouth and screamed in her palms, as if they would solve anything.

She kept screaming her palms, not caring if the neighbors heard her. Buttercup was allowing all her anger, pain, and even numbness go through the scream. If Texas could hear her, then so be it. Buttercup gulped and shook her head. And fell back, trying to fall asleep so this day could pass by faster.

"Dude you thearted her? You do realize that could get you arrested, right?" Mitch asked as Butch shrugged his shoulders and shot the basketball.

"She hurt Georgie, you know he was like our little brother." Butch said as he held his hands out for the ball, which Mitch passed it towards him. "And if that was the bitch who made him run out his dream, then who cares? I'll take care of my family, whoever hurts them got me to deal with."

"Butch..." Mitch stopped, he knew that it was going to be hard reasoning with the black haired teenager.

Butch held onto the ball as he stared at the hoop, and keep his green eyes on the net. He didn't know why he was so angry in the first place, yeah his friend was hurt by this girl but she wasn't at all what he described. Butch just never understood why so many people was scared of this person called 'Heartbreaker ', there was really nothing scary about her.

But something seemed off about this whole thing, like how did Mitch know about her?

He shook his head and shot the ball through the net. He looked towards his friend, who was getting the ball. "Mitch?" Butch called.

"Yeah?"

"How did you know that Buttercup was that Heartbreaker chick?"

"Who doesn't dude."

"I..." Butch paused, what was he going to say to his best friend. "But still, how did you know it was her? It could've been anyone in this school."

Mitch shrugged his shoulders before smirking towards Butch. "I know lots of things man, like how you broke some chick in high school. You made her feel like she was everything, have her gifts, and even took her virginity..." Mitch said as Butch jaw dropped as he felt the ball got slammed into the chest.

"I also know who it was." The brunette replied as he blew his shaggy hair from his brown eyes.

Butch patted his hands along the stinging area, from whenever Mitch threw the basketball on his chest. "Who?" Butch asked shakily.

"The same chick who broke Connor, Georgie, and me. The same chick that was pulling the moves on you. The same chick that you blew up at a couple days ago."

"Buttercup..."
