Chapter 10.

     He rolls towards you and props his head in his hands. "Thanks for forcing me to clean, it was pretty gross"
     "Yeah it was! Imagine if your viewers knew the condition you recorded in! Ugh all of them would send cleaning survives your way!!" you laugh and he joins in. "Oh when we start corpse party can I pleeeaassee have your comfy chair?" you do puppy eyes. You don't want a fully wooden dining chair to sit in for hours while playing. You believe you'll be able to convince that sucker.
"I just got that chair two weeks ago that's not fair!" he says as he begins to untie his mask. Why he didn't take it off before, you have no idea.
"But Crrryy I'm the guest. Plus we won't play it all night, we can probably watch Netflix while eating and stuff so you won't be stuck with a wooden chair for long" he sighs giving in.
"Fine fine, only because you flew here"
"Yay!" you say giving him a half assed hug, aka you kinda rolled/flopped onto him for a second. You stand up and get into the curtain room to see his computer once again. Three monitors, you've never been able to play on such a nice computer. You sit down on his chair, it smells like him, and is super comfy! You'll never want to get up again. He drags over a chair and takes the keyboard from you and gets to working on downloading Corpse party.
     "Do you mind we're playing this?" you ask, since he already played it years ago you just gotta make sure.
"Yeah why not? It's been years since I've seen or touched the game" he smiles at you.
"Okay cool" the game has already finished downloading and you begin to play.

Every 2 hours or so you stretch out to make sure you don't die from back problems, always trying good posture but it never stays. You guys talk throughout the game and you play it like if you were recording it. You voice the female characters and narrator and he takes the male and Sachiko. He gets a little hungry so he leaves you to run to the store for snacks. You decide to do some light snooping.
There's a glass case with some action figures in it. Most from video games, you see his dragon balls, Barney and Yarney, a WOW figurine you can't place the name of and some others. You bend down a little and look at his PC on the floor, Russ was right he doesn't clean it well.
You leave the curtain room and go to the TV at the foot of his bed, you see a couple game consoles with games here and there. You go to his bed, a normal queen/king sized bed, oh? He left his phone on the bed, probably fell out of his pocket when he wasn't paying attention. You sit on the bed and look at it in your hands and it starts to buzz. "Chey ❤️" pops up on the screen. You panic, should you answer? You have to right? You do.

"Hello?" You say, you don't know what to make of this call.
"Hey babe liste-"
"Oh uh no, he's not here right now, he left his phone. Went to the store"
"Wait, who are you?"
"(Y/N) his friend, I'm visiting him to make sure he's alright"
"Oh well '(Y/N)' he'll be fine, I'm getting back together with him." she says that with such confidence, like he would definitely go back to her.
"Oh uhm, I was planning for the week. I haven't met him before and we've been friends for-"
"Don't worry, you should leave early. I'll take care of him. I'm planning my visit now" she cut you off rudely. "Oh and don't tell him, it'll be a surprise"
"So I'm just supposed to sit here while he's in pain because of you?" you're done with her already.
"Well yeah" is she really that daft?
"Okay well whatever, it won't be a problem for me to forget this call so-"
"Yeah alrighty bye"

Wow you thought her bitchy vibe on the stream was just a vibe but you guess not. Your attention snaps towards the computer again, a Skype call? Jeez you didn't think he was that popular plus it's like 4 so what's the deal? It's from Russ? You assume you should answer this too.

"Ayyyyye dude so with TGI-"
"Wait Russ it's not Cry-"
"Oo a girl, who's this?" you laugh a bit and say.
"Hi I'm (Y/N) I have no idea if Ryan has mentioned me, I'm a close friend"
"Oh YOU'RE (Y/N)? He was talking about you on the stream"
"Mmhm that's me, I was flying here while you guys were live so I missed it, what did he say?"
"Stuff like she's cool and funny, nice things, he also wants to join for a stream did he mention that to you?"
"Oh yeah he did, I'm not really sure.."
"Oh common it'll be fun!"
"No no it's not like that! I'd love to chill with all you guys, you all seem fun. But I-I feel like I'd be the female replacement for Cheyenne. I really don't want that"
"I see what you mean."
"Can I tell you something?" you feel like you can trust Russ already, he's another of Cry's best friends so you better be able to trust him.
"Of course shoot"
"I just got off of Cry's phone, Chey called him. She said she's getting back together with him. And also added I should leave early since she'll be here by the end of the week. She old me not to tell him so it'll be a surprise, but how am I supposed to do that while he's hurting over her?" you feel so relieved you can talk to someone about this.
"Woah. Well I think you should keep it to yourself, she might change her mind"
"But she was dead certain she would be with him again. Frankly, she's not good for him, they're not a good match"
"I know how it is, he tells me all about her while she says the opposite, she's in denial. The whole crew knows it's not good but she's part of the group you know? We're all for loss as to what to do here"
"But I need to do something about it. I honestly can't have him going back to her, she destroys him. A little harsh I know but it's true, he can't see it 'cause he thinks he's happy"
"What's your plan then?"
"I want him to know what a real match is for a relationship. But we don't have time to find someone for him.." you trail off. You'd be the perfect match but the feeling of being her replacement is always present once he touches you.
"I mean you flew all the way there just to make sure he was okay, that shows for something. Maybe he just needs to find it himself. We all know this won't last long, they'll burn out again and maybe then he'll clue in"
"I'm just worried it'll seriously effect him. It already has, when he told me what the call was...That was the most upset he has ever been. And I know he'll jump into her arms again I-"
"We'll have to let it play out (Y/N). He'll learn and heal from this. He's a strong dude"
"I know, okay here's what I'll do. I'll give him the best week, before she has the time to destroy it. I'll let him know what a real friendship is, since I can't show him otherwise. But I know I'm not leaving early, I've already waited 7 years to meet him"
"Yeah that sounds good"
"Hey can you try to get the others for a stream before Friday? I'm low on plans to do and I think it'll boost his mood"
"Hmm Snake is pretty booked this week but I'll try my best, I know Jund will be all aboard"
"You're the best Russ-Oh I think that's the front door, he's back from the store"
"Sweeeet he better have gotten my chips this time!"
You start laughing as Cry walks in throwing his keys onto the bed and places the bags by his feet while sitting down.
"What did I miss?" He says clueless.
"Hiiiiii Crrrryyy" Russ says
"Dude he can't hear you haha, nothing Ry I'm just stealing your friends"
