Awakening

"AGHHGH!" I screamed. I had the worst migraine ever imaginable-that's from someone who experiences migraines a lot.

I noticed that the ropes were unbound from my wrists and that I was completely free from duct tape's wrath. But my wrists were now attached to a bed I was in with metal chains. Around me, I noticed I was in what looked like a hospital room. Around me were medical machines of every kind-ones that I could not name to save my life. But there was an IV connected to my left wrist with a tube that led to a large bag filled with fluids on a pole. There was a machine to check my vitals and a "thumb clamp" to check my pulse. There were no windows, so I presumed I was still underground.

"OWWW AHHH!!!" I screamed again, due to another migraine blow.

"So your awake now." A man came out of a door next to one of the fancy shmancy machines, shutting the door behind him. It was Boss.

"Oh, you again. Thanks for the present." I rudely held up my wrists a foot above my legs, as far as they could go.

"Nice to see you too Sarah."

"What are you doing to me?" There is something that is not right with this man... I mean, besides the fact that they have kidnapped me...

"Showing you what makes you truly special."

"What?"

"When I shot you with my FIFMD, it brought you into the drowsy, relaxed state you were in.

"Ok..."

"Don't you see? That's your talent! That's what makes you special!"

"So the fact that I can take a nap makes me... special?"

Boss chuckled. "You don't understand, do you?"

"You are most definitely keeping something from me."

"You got that right."

"I am very disliking you."

"That's OK. But not for long. We will need your cooperation."

"For what?" I asked.

"For helping you to develop your talent."

"Tell me now what it is or I will rip these IVs out of- AGGGHHHH!!!! I HATE THESE MIGRAINES!!!!"

Boss chuckled again. "Don't hurt yourself. Your talent, Sarah, is that you have the ability to... see into the future."
