Part 8

Niall’s POV

I wish I didn’t care that much. But hearing her say that really hurt me. I know that she wasn’t sure of us to be friends but I had never expected this. Did she mean what she said?

I would love to ask her but this time I refused. Her answer would just hurt me more. I wanted to avoid her but we have art class together. When she sat down next to me, she tried to talk to me but I cut her off saying I didn’t want her explanation.

I lied but I didn’t want to talk to her now. She stayed quiet for the rest of the class. Suddenly she passed on a note. ‘I’m sorry, please talk to me.’ I was too angry, too hurt for the moment so I ripped the note into pieces. After class I left without saying a thing. I heard her shout my name but I ignored it.

Megan’s POV

I really messed up this time. I had a chance to have a real friend but I hurt him and chased him away. Would he forgive me? If he just let me explain it. It gave me a headache. Why did I start to like him?

He was so different than me but for some reason it worked for us. I just needed to talk to him. I guess I should give him some time. He already left so I wouldn’t be able to talk to him now.

I started walking towards the exit when I suddenly stopped. I couldn’t believe what I saw. Daniel and Jenny were kissing at the front gate. Wasn’t she dating Niall? I didn’t get it. And why did Daniel kiss her?

She wasn’t exactly our kind of people too. I should tell Niall what I saw. Tomorrow at school I would walk up to him and tell him. Soon I started panicking. What if he wouldn’t believe me?

He would probably still be mad about what he heard earlier. I can never forget the look in his eyes. He might have the same look when I tell him about Jenny, and I’m not sure if I can face that look again.

But he has to know that she is cheating on him. I suddenly looked to my left and I saw how Niall was looking at Daniel and Jenny. I wasn’t sure what he was about to do. He just stood there..
