"What do you mean you're going to Maine?" Brendon squeaked. I looked at him with sympathy in my eyes. "Family reunion, totally lame..." Brendon sighed at look at his feet.

"I'll be back soon, I leave in a few days so it's not that bad." I smiled and rubbed his shoulder. "You'll barely notice that I'm gone, I'm a looooooserrrr." I smiled a cheesy fake smile and started my car.

"Where to, Bren?" He shook his head. "Nowhere." I was shocked. Mr. Excitement didn't want to go anywhere? "Are you feeling okay?" I felt his head for a "fever." (YOU CANT SWEAT OUT IM NOT SORRY) "Yeah, just. Wanna stay at my house."

"Fine. I guess I'll stay, too." I turned off the car completely and got out, opening the passenger door for Brendon. He got out, and sluggishly walked into his house. I stepped to go inside, only to have a door slammed in my face. (I CHIME IN...) "Well, okay..." I sighed and sat by the door for a little while, and it began to rain. Unusual in Vegas.

"There's no sunshine, this impossible year..." Rang from the other side of the door. "Only black days, and sky grays, and clouds full of fear." There was such a depressing tinge of sadness in his voice, deep and shaky...

"Bren? Lemme in." I knocked vigorously, sounding like an annoying neighbor. "Bren... Let me innnnnnnn!" I whined, slamming my head into the door.

No answer. "BRENDON BOYD URIE, LET ME IN RIGHT NOW." I heard shuffling, and Brendon opened the door. "Okay, mom, jeez." I pulled him into a hug.

"You are SUCH A DRAMA QUEEN!" I smiled up at him. "Ugh, I am not!" He said in his signature valley girl voice. I rolled my eyes and released him from a the hug. "You can't exclude me when I'm gonna leave, we have to do something fun! There's Crystal Bay, we can drive there today and go to the beaches tomorrow." I grinned and clenched my fist, hopeful. He nodded and ran off to his room. What a child...

"I'M READY TO GO!" (I'm terrible.) Brendon dashed back into the main room, holding up a huge duffel bag. "I think my eardrums are broken, gosh.." Brendon was such a.. A... Special thing. He had on a black tee, jeans, and a black hat. "That's hot, fuck..." I whispered to myself because my thoughts were fluttering with exciting ideas about this man. "What'd you say?" He tilted his head innocently, even though he knew exactly what I said... "That's gonna be hot, fuck. You sure you wanna wear all black?" I looked him up and down.

"Why not?" He took off the hat and made his hair into a fringy mess. "I don't play by the rules, dude." Brendon was good at voices, cringey emo and surfer dude were some of my personal favorites. "I still have to get my stuff, ya know." He dropped his bags, oh yeah. "I still have some clothes in my trunk, actually. I can wear those." I picked up his bags and he narrowed his chocolate brown eyes. "You forgot a bag, ma'am." I stuffed Brendon's duffel in the trunk and he held up a smaller bag with hygiene products in it. "Mhm. We don't have to go to the beach." Brendon pouted and stomped to my trunk, tossing the bag in.

"This is gonna be great, if you can behave like an adult you four year old."
