I always heard that you'd fall in love. And it would break you, and it would make you cry. But the euphoria was worth it. The pure pleasure you felt when you were with that person. That's why so many people are broken, love.

I thought about all of this on my three hour plane ride. I couldn't sleep because the air is so cold, it's impossible to get comfortable. I just listened to some music and thought, we had fun in Crystal Bay. Going to the beach and splashing each other, getting our noses sunburned.

He dropped me at the airport, and his hug. Brendon's hugs were always the warmest. You felt like you could stay in them forever. I couldn't wait to see my family, they were everything to me. I can't wait to tell them I got a record deal. With Brendon. Maybe I could skype him and we could sample one of the songs we worked on.

But Brendon probably had plans, too. And I didn't want to intrude on whatever he has going on. What was I saying? He'd be happy to skype me, right?

My mom pulled up to the airport and I put my suitcase in the back.

"Tell me everything!" She opened my door and practically shoved me in. I buckled up and she got in. "Well, I won the contest as you saw. But I got signed as a duo with a friend..." I sighed as I said the last word. "Oooh? A friend... What's their name?" My mom elbowed me and I turned red. "B-Brendon. Brendon Urie." I smiled and suggested we go home.

The house looked so different... I missed it. I was jumping in excitement as I ran up to the door with my suitcase. My dad opened the door and bear hugged me. "OWW! DAD OW STOP!" I screamed as he crushed my insides. He tightened his grip and then let go. "Jesus, nice to see you, too. (Y/N)." He stood at the door and waited for my mom. "I think my ribs are broken.." I whined.

"Okay, I know I just got here... What's the wifi password?" I got out my laptop and set it on the kitchen table, then wheeled my suitcase into my room. When I came back to my laptop, a code was sitting on it. "Thanks!" I yelled and I heard my parents talking in the living room.

You: HEY BREN! IM HERE AND HAVE WIFI!

Bren: cool u wanna call?

You: no sorry loser

Bren: *eye roll gif*

I turned on my laptop and typed in the code, Skype popped up annoyingly so I shut it for now. I hate how it does that! Ugh... But when I connected to the Internet skype said I had missed three calls already. Am I that slow? Or is Brendon that clingy? I bit my lip and clicked the call option for him. His face popped up within the first ring... and he wasn't at home?

"Hey Bren! Where are you?" I honestly had no idea, that wasn't Vegas. "Oh! I went somewhere after the airport, I'm about two hours from Vegas in some town named," I heard him mumble to someone, ",Lake Havasu." No idea. "Oh! Is it nice there?" I said, I was suddenly freaked out when then camera panned to a beautiful woman.

"Yeah! I'm here with my friend Sarah." She waved at the camera and I felt sick to my stomach. She's just a friend, yep. My expression went from booming with excitement to my dog just died. "I've gotta go Bren! I'll call you later, bye!" I quickly hung up and slammed my laptop closed.

Was I crying? What the fuck me? You weren't raised to be this sensitive. I twisted my hair as a nervous habit, the strands smooth in my fingers.

Yeah! I'm here with my friend Sarah.

She was much prettier, and probably sweeter than me. She looked like such a nice person and here I am, being a sour bitch.

Ugh...

(Hey lads! Quickly I just want to say, wazzzuppppppppp)
