  I recently made contact with you again. My brain screamed at the idea of you in my life. I had always wondered what happened to you. Were you even still alive? Did you have kids? Were you happy without me?
I can't say I'm not happy without you. Because I am. Sure, I would have loved to end up with you. But I know that there's something planned for me. And maybe you're just not part of that plan?
I hope she makes you happy.
