May x Rick (the walking Dead)

May's pov~~~~
      I walked around the wasteland I called home. All the others were crowded around a car that had a dead person in it. They were in a state of peace. The peace that you get when you are completely dead. I looked around. The herd had kinda moved on so, I followed. We walked until we came to a neighborhood. I could hear something moving around in a house so I wanted to know what was inside.
"Hey Paul. Will you stay here with me? I want to see what's inside this house." I said looking at the walker.
"AARGH." Paul growled.
(I'm sorry but the walker had to respond I could help myself.) Ricks pov ~~~~~~~~~~~
"Carl go upstairs I heard something outside." I said to Carl, who was reading a comic book he found.
"Ok dad." Carl said walking upstairs.
     I looked out the door a woman sitting on the bench across the street. I tilted my head in confusion. Then like 20 walked came walking down the street. The didn't see me but the woman was just sitting in the open. They just walked right pasted her. Her lips were moving so I knew she was talking. But to what? She stood and and grabbed the walker in a hug. The walker didn't move or anything, the walker didn't make a move to buy her anything which surprised me. The woman looked over to where I was standing and smiled. I quickly went back inside and shut the door and locked it.
"Well dad. What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." Carl said walking down the stairs.
"Carl. Do you do you see that woman?" I said pointing out the window.
"How is she not dead? Sitting out in the open like that?" Carl asked shocked
"I don't know but, I'm going to be brave and go talk to her. Maybe she needs some help. Do you want to come with me?" I said.
"Um. Sure dad are your ok." Carl asked.
"Yeah just come on Carl." I said walking out the door.
"Ok." Carl said.
      We walked outside and looked around. There were no walkers around so we continued towards the woman.
"Hey. We saw you sitting out here by yourself. Do you need help or anything?" I asked the woman.
The woman stared up at us in shock.
"Um. Helllllo are you ok?" I said. I waved my hand in front of her face.
"Oh I'm sorry. I'm fine & no I'm not alone. I have my walkers. So I'm good. Thank you for your concern." The woman said.
"Alright. Come on son. Let's leave the woman alone."  I said.
      I was making a plan. I realized that if she traveled and stayed with us. The walkers wouldn't come close to us. Carl wouldn't like the idea, but if he got to know her he would think differently.
"Carl. I have an idea. We should let her travel with us." I said looking at Carl.
"What! Dad! She could be a type of walker. What if she kills?!" Carl yelled at me.
"Let me explain. She could travel and stay with us. So the walkers would stay away because if she can hug them then she can command them. Not to mention we could save more ammo." I said.
"Well I guess your right. She is like best friends with them. Well more like she's the queen of walkers. Ok dad I'm fine with it but if she hurts any of us. I'll kill her." Carl agreed. 
"Ok we put our plan into motion asap. By that I mean tomorrow." I said. "Right now we need to decide where we're going next."
     Me and Carl sat down with a map and started planning our next move.
~~~~~Mays pov ~~~~~~
     I looked at the house the two guys went in to. One seemed a little cautious around me. Which is completely understandable. The other was different. He was quite handsome and it seemed like he wanted to meet me. Which is feels different.
     I looked around the neighborhood as the sun set. I felt tired which indicates I'm hungry. I got up and walked in to the woods. I scanned the ground for a mouse or a ground squirrel. I finally found a ground squirrel, so I snuck up behind it and pounced. I quickly broke its neck. It was hard to kill something that cute. Especially for some one who likes animals as much as I do.
"I'm sorry little guy." I said as I bit into the squirrel.
      After I finished the squirrel, I dug a hole and buried the squirrel. I walked back over to my bench. A cat sat next to me on the bench. I reached over and pet it before it ran away. I waited for daylight to come. When it finally did, the 2 guys came back.
"So miss. We were wondering if you would like to join our group?" The bigger one said.
"I would love to." I said.
"Good. I have a couple questions first. How many walkers have you killed & how many people have you killed." He asked.
"I've killed a couple of walkers. Just because they were suffering. And about 10 people. Because they asked me to and they were my family and friends." I said frowning.  
"The group is kinda separated at the moment but I'm Rick and this is my son, Carl. I have a daughter named Judith but we got separated from her." Rick said.
"Well let's get moving so we can find her!" I said standing from my seat.
"Do you guys want to raid some houses?" I asked.
"Can we raid the houses dad?" Carl asked Rick.
"Sure." Rick said.
     We walked into a house that looked to be empty for awhile.
"What are you looking for? I'll help." I said.
"Canned food, baby food, baby clothes, weapons like katanas and guns and stuff." Rick says.
"Why do you need weapons?" I asked.
"For protection . Just in case you're not with us and a walker comes at us. Are you OK with that?" Rick asked.
"Yeah because I get what you're saying. I wish this never happened then everyone could be safe."
"Alright let's move." Rick said, looking at me with a look of understanding.
Carl went upstairs, Rick went to the basement, and I went to the kitchen. I walked around the kitchen and found some canned food in the pantry. I then went looking in the fridge. There were a couple cans of baby food in the bottom shelf. I looked through the rest the kitchen and found some more canned food.
"Hey May! Come here. We've decided where to go next." Rick yelled.
"so where are we going?" I asked.
"We're are going to head down the railroad tracks." Rick said packing stuff up.
"Oh here is the stuff I found in the kitchen." I said handing Rick the food.
"Good. We need some food." Carl said licking his lips.
"Have you guys eaten?" I asked Rick and Carl.
"No I've been too weak to do anything. Carl, he couldn't go far from me." Rick replied.
"Well you guys eat. You need to keep your strength up." I said "I will keep watch."
"Are you sure?" Rick asked.
"Yes. Now go eat." I commanded
I stood on the porch of the house, watching the surroundings. I was watching the woods when a woman came out of them I rushed over to her.
"Are you OK?" I asked.
"Who are you?" She asked pruning a sword at my neck.
"I am May. Please come with me. I have food. If Carl and Rick will share it." I said leading her to the house.
"You know Carl and Rick?" She asked taking the sword away from my head.
"Yeah. Come on." I said.
We walked to the house in silence. When we walked into the house,Rick and Carl shot up from their seats when they see the woman.
"Michonne!!!" They said engulfing her in a hug.
"So you know her?" I asked.
"Oh yeah. Michonne this is May. She agreed to keep the walkers away from the group." Rick said.
"How?" Michonne asked.
"Um I was experimented on at the beginning of this to see if people could live among the dead. I was the only successful one before the scientists were killed. I found out that I can't control them too." I explained.
"She works. But if she hurts anybody she's dead." Michonne said.
"Ok" Rick said.
We walked toward the rail road track. We finally reached the tracks, while it was getting dark.
"Let's go inside one of these houses and spend the night. It will be a lot safer." I said.
"Yeah it will be a lot safer." Rick said opening the door.
We cleared the house. Rick & the others got ready for bed while I looked around. I didn't find anything
"May are you okay taking watch." Rick asked.
"I'll be fine." I said. Then I did something I thought I would never do. I kissed his cheek. I blushed and walked outside.
'Oh my gosh. Why did I do that? Do-do I like Rick?' I thought.
Ricks pov~~~~~
     'Did that just happen?' I thought as I walked back to the others.
"I'm going to bed." Carl said.
Michonne looked at me and smirked.
"You like her!" She said laughing.
"No-no I don't." I said.
"Yes you do now come on let's go to bed." Michonne said.
"Alright." I said going to bed.
'Do I like her? I still feel sore from loosening Lori. I miss Judith. But maybe May can fill that hole in my heart where Lori was.' I thought falling asleep.
Morning~~~~
     I woke up earlier than Carl and Michonne. I didn't think May wouldn't be keeping watch. I looked around for her and I spotted her near the woods. She seemed to be eating something. I never expected her to turn around with blood on her face (around her mouth.). I ran over to her.
"What the heck is going on May?" I said.
"I'm-I'm eating." She whispered. She looked like she saw a ghost. 
"May I want the truth right now!" I demanded.
"Ok I'm like half walker. I don't turn anything into a walker. But I still eat flesh like the others. I'm please don't hate me. I'll leave if you want me to." She said.
"I don't want you to leave come on let's hit the road. You will be staying in the front of the group with me." I said.
"Okay." She said. "Are we going to Terminus. Do you know someone named Maggie?"
"Yeah why?" I said.
"Because look at the sign." She said pointing to the sign next to the rail road tracks.
"Come on let's head that way. We have pack and everything first." I said as we walked back to the house.
~~~~~Mays pov~~~~~
     We packed and made our way to the railroad. We walked for what felt like forever. We finally made it to Terminus. Rick buried a bag of guns by the exit. We went through the exit we weren't going to risk being shot at or getting in trouble. We didn't make it far before we were stopped by a woman at a grill cooking meat.
"Hello and welcome to terminus. Where those who arrive, survive. Here have some food." The woman said.
Carl didn't hesitate. But me, Michonne and Rick did. Something didn't seem right about this meat and I like to know what I'm eating. We were busy staring at the meat when a guy with blond hair walked through the door.
"Welcome to Terminus. I see you came through the exit. That was smart but not smart enough. Our watchers spotted you." He said grinning.
      We stood in silence until Rick noticed the watch on his wrist.
"Where did you get that watch?" Rick demanded.
"I don't have to tell you." The man said.
"Tell me!" Rick screamed " Where are the others."
"Alright book em guys" the man ordered the men surrounding him.
   They pushed us into a line next to a train car and opened the door. 
"Alright ring leader you go first. Next the Samari and now the pretty girl. And the boy. In line in that order." The man said.
     We lined up in that order and walked into the car. The door shut behind us.
"Rick! Carl! Michonne!" I heard people exclaim. Everyone had a reunion and hugged each other. I sat by the door and watched through the crack.
"Hey Rick. Who's this?" A woman asked.
"Oh this is May. She's got a special talent." Rick said holding my shoulders.
"Oh well tell us what's so special that Rick kept you."  The man with long hair and a country accent said.
"I would rather show you when we get out of here." I said.
"That's ok. We'll get out of here soon I can feel. Well any way I'm Maggie and this is my husband Glenn." Maggie smiled.
Glenn waved.
"I'm Daryl." Was all Daryl said before walking over to the corner.
"I'm Sasha." Sasha said smiling then went back to staring at the ground.
"I'm Eugene and this is Tara, Abraham, and Rosita." Eugene said.
    I waved and went to sleep in the corner. Everyone else was out like lights. I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow.
Morning~~~~
      I woke up earlier than everyone. I was just looking out of the crack in the door when a man opened the door.
"Your comin' with me pretty girl!" He said roughly pulling me out.
     As I screamed out, everyone woke up and reached out to grab my leg. The man dragged me to a room that was dimly lit with candles.
"Get down there." He said as he started to rape me.
      He didn't get very far before an explosion happened. He quickly ran out the door and left me alone. So I escaped. I made my way passed the people and ran to the car. Rick and the others were in. I opened the door and motioned for them. They followed me until we reached the walkers.
"Ok this is what makes me special." I said walking up to the walkers. " Hey guys can you help me protect my group?"
       I watched their jaws drop as I lead the walkers over to them.
"What the hell?" Glenn said.
     The walkers surrounded us. I watched the others crowd in the middle well all of them except Michonne, Carl, and Rick.
Ricks pov~~~~~~~~~
     I watched May lead us out with confidence. As I watched her, I realized how much I loved her. I think I'm going to tell her tonight.

   Everyone was going to bed when me and May slipped outside.
"You did well today." I said
"Really. Thanks." May said
"Yeah. You know how it made me feel?" I said.
"No but tel--" she started by was cut off by my lips.
After the kiss she looked up and wrapped her arms around me to hug me.
"I didn't know I did Rick. But I love you." May said.
"I love you too." I said.
