So here it is finally, so sorry that I took so long. From now on, the story will be uploaded every week or less. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy!

       -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was done in a French twist up-do. I was wearing a beige strapless beaded corset ball gown designed by Arla Laerscavic, which Sapphire helped me choose, as I was very fussy. I wore some long diamond earings which match with my diamond bracelet. As for shoes I wore these beige patent leather heels, they matched perfectly with my dress! For the first time ever, I felt beautiful and priceless.

When I was ready, I went to my mother’s room to see if she was done. She wore a dark blue and black puffy ball grown with shiny black high heels. She had cut her hair into a pixie hairstyle and it made her look ten years younger! “You look great mom”, I smiled. She smiled and said that we both looked fantastic. Then, we both went outside and left.

When we arrived, Sapphire came running to hug me. She wore a really puffy light blue V- neck ball gown with glitters all around. Her hair was up-styled as a high donut bun and she wore the shiniest light blue diamond earrings I could have possibly ever seen. I could see that Rodney and Tyler were already here so as usual my mother went next to Rodney. “Gosh, honey you look great! Now, come on Jay’s been looking for you”, she grabbed my arm and took me inside the mansion.

The mansion was so white and classy. Violins from the garden could be heard from the inside. The lake could be seen from where I was. Everyone was dressed in so many colorful ball gowns; it made me feel like I was a princess. Sapphire shook my hand, I guess I was staring. Jayden came down the stairs looking really smart and elegant. I always knew he could pull it off. He came up to me, kissed my hand and smiled. “Let me go get us some Champagne, wait here”, he smiled and went. So I stood there alone since Sapphire ditched us and went somewhere off with Nick. Tyler and I still weren’t talking so when I turn around and see Tyler on the other side of the mansion staring at me with this sort of look, I was literally praying for Jayden to show up because I didn’t want to talk to him on this type of occasion. I didn’t want to cause any unnecessary attention towards me.

But anyways, I decided to go on and talk to him since it had been a whole entire week since we had that ‘argument’; it didn’t seem fair at all to not at least apologize for my own mess. I walked up to him but I wasn’t surprised when Tyler pointed at the waiter that had just passed by and went after him for champagne. It was downright embarrassing but I knew he’d run away from me. The odd thing was that as far as I knew he wasn’t the guy that hates confrontation; just see how he faces Jayden on their arguments. I stood there feeling all guilty and disappointed.

Jayden came back with our glasses of champagne; he gave me my glass. “What are you doing here? I thought I had left you over there?” he said, puzzled. I looked around for some stupid excuse and I said the first thing that popped into my head. “Art. I mean… I came to see this painting… you know.” He nodded and took hold of my arm. “Let me get you along with Sir Frederick. While you’re talking to him, I’ll be off finding the others. If you’re into history, he’s your guy. His ancestors founded this town so he’s practically the key of everything!” Great, I’ll be alone with a person who I didn’t know.

The Mayor shook my hand and Jayden disappeared. He was a tall man and I assumed he was in his forties. He wore a dark brown tuxedo and a black bow. He was blonde and had yellowish eyes which were a tiny bit unusual. His hair was sleeked back and had a straight posture. He held his champagne glass and held his head high, “I met your mother and I agreed to buy some of her brilliant art work. She seems like a wonderful person, Ms. Dawson.”
