I blinked a few times as I rolled over in my bed. I pressed the home button on my phone and looked at the time. 11:05 am. Laila must have let me stay home today since she didn't come in yelling like she usually does when I oversleep. I sat up when I saw that I had 4 messages from Craig

Lying Ass Bitch : I'm truly sorry. I know what i did was wrong. Let me make it up to you... 

                                

  Meet me at The Golden Pearl tmrrw night at 7. U wont regret it I promise.

                                 

 Lillie ??? You there?

                                 

 I guess you went to sleep. Good Night Lillie

The Golden Pearl ??? That's one of the most expensive restaurants in LA. I've only been there once when my dad told us he was leaving, so I already had my mind made up that I wasn't going back especially not for Craig. I lightly sighed as I pulled to covers back. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up falling almost instantly. It took me a while but I finally gathered the strength to stand back up on my weak legs. 

Once I made my way down the stairs and to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed the carton of apple juice. When I closed the fridge, I noticed a note addressed to me. It was from Laila. I could tell by her perfect cursive hand writing. 

 Lillie,

Stay home today. I can tell what happened took a toll on you and I think you need a day off to calm down. 

I Love you, Laila

I slightly sighed at the note. She knew me too well. After a few seconds of thinking, I decided to just eat some cereal for breakfast. I took a few steps and opened the cabinet taking out a bowl and a cup. Then, I slide open the drawer and grabbed a spoon. I turned back to the counter and poured myself a cup of apple juice before drinking some out of the carton. So what? Its mine.... what you gone do?

I turned back to the fridge and put the juice back before grabbing the milk and standing on my tippy-toes to grab the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. After I made my cereal, I sat down to eat pulling out my phone. I tapped the message icon deciding to text Craig back.

Lillie🔥💦: No thanks

Lying Ass Bitch😒: How many time I gotta Im sorry

Lillie🔥💦:None. I dont need your Im sorries. Im good.

Lying Ass Bitch😒: At least say you'll think bout it

Lillie🔥💦: K.

 After I sent that text to Craig, I tapped 'Big Daddy' and tapped compose message. 

Lillie: Froyo Dojo. Tomorrw at 3?

Big Daddy: See u there.

Lillie: Good

Big Daddy: Good

Lillie: Great

Big Daddy: Great

Lillie: Stop it copy-cat

Big Daddy: lol u the copy-cat

Lillie: How Sway?

Big Daddy: don't worry bout it.

Lillie: Lol you play all day

Big Daddy: ik 

After I finished eating, I put my bowl and cup in the sink and made my way back up stairs to my room. I got back in bed. Turning on my TV, I went straight to the Netflix setting. I had a whole lot of Gray's Anatomy to watch. I went to where I left off. Season 10 Episode 18 and clicked play, while getting comfortable.

School had been so slow today because I couldn't get her off my mind. I don't know what it is about her, but I wanted to be around her all the time. The crazy part is, for some odd reason, I couldn't let her know that just yet. Maybe playing hard to get would make her want me more....Maybe.

"Jake," Ray's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"H-Huh?,"I answered quickly.

"Come on boy, school over." He said slightly chuckling.

"It is?"

"Yea...you ain't hear the bell ring?"

"Nah I guess not."I got up and we started making our way to the student parking lot.

"Why Not? You was day dreaming or someth-"He stopped dead in his tracks.

"What?" I said stopping and turning to look at him.

"...Don't tell me you was thinking bout that new girl from the party."

"N-nah w-why you think that?"

"You know you stutter every time you lie right?"He said laughing as he started back walking.

"So what if I was thinking bout her?"

"Damn man she got you whipped already"

"Man ain't nobody whipped"

"Yea what ever you say" 

We made it to the student parking lot and went our separate ways to find our cars. Once I got in my car, I shut the door and glanced over to the rear view mirror. I just sat there, looking at myself for a second. Maybe I am whipped already......Nah.

"Shake it off Perez," I mumbled to myself before starting up my car and driving off.

Yah

I pulled up to a red light on my way home turning up the radio. Out the corner of my eye, I noticed a very familiar afro, so I picked up my phone and tapped the message icon.

Yah: Im starting to think your following me.

This was the fourth time I seen him today at the same stoplight as me.

I looked over at him grinning as I saw him pick his phone up and look at it for a second. He started to look around before he finally found me. I gave a quick wave, but he just turned his attention forward looking unimpressed. My grin completely dropped as I looked ahead waiting for the light to turn green. I thought he liked me. I guess not.

After what seemed like forever, the light finally changed and I took off towards Myra's school which was a little further down the street. I glanced to my left and see Jacob pulling into Starbucks and I kept straight. I sighed and slightly shook my head.

"Shake it off Yah," I said as I turned onto the street Myra's school was on.

Lillie 6:30 pm

7 one hour episodes into Gray Anatomy, I heard to door open and close. I braced myself to tell her what happened yesterday because honestly, its been on my mind all day and I need to let it out. I looked up as my door opened and Laila appeared in her business casual outfit. I sat up as I paused the tv and waited for her to come sit on my bed.

"Ready to talk?,"She said in a soft but assuring voice.

"W-well it all started when I was at the food court with the girls...and a guy came over to us....His name was Craig," I softly sighed before continuing.
