"Did everything go good?" I glanced over a Lae who had her eyes glued to a magazine.

"Yea its all good," I replied nonchalantly as I continued to play Call of Duty on my XBox.

"You play that game all the time...I mean I haven't know you for that long but every time I'm over here you killing zombies or some shit," She slightly chuckled.

I paused my game and looked over at her,"Girl don't play, you know COD is the goat," She scrunched her face up. "What goat ?" I was waiting for her to start laughing and say that she was just kidding, but after a few seconds, I realized that she was serious.

"You know the greatest of all time," She made a weird face. "Who the hell came up with that?"

I laughed, "I really expected the most popular girl in school to know more slang."

"I'm not the most popular girl in school," She really expected me to believe that," Girl please your practically prom queen and we don't even have a prom," She burst into laughter.

"I guess if you say so," I opened my mouth to speak but there was a soft knock on my door. "Come in," I sat up a little waiting for the door to open. Tayonna opened the door and peeked inside.

"What are you doing here," Lae said with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Lae be nice," I said and she let out a breath as she laid back on my bed reopening the magazine. "You needed something?" I asked Tayonna in a polite tone. "Umm yea. I left my Kindle charger I just came back to get it."

"Oh yea sure go ahead," She stepped into the room revealing her outfit. This was only my second time seeing her but I could tell by the look on Lae's face that she doesn't usually dress like this. Lae eyed her outfit as she made her way across my room to where she was sitting last night.

She grabbed her charger and started making her way back to the door. "Nice outfit," Lae said out of no where. 

As soon as she said that Tayonna stopped and turned around and it seemed as if she became a different person. "Why are you always picking on me. I never did anything to you and now your making fun of my clo-" 

"I'm not making fun of you....that's a nice outfit,"

 "Really?" Tayonna questioned with a skeptical look on her face.

"Yea...I like the top" Nae said nonchalantly looking back at her magazine.

"Oh..thanks,"Tayonna said awkwardly before turning to walk out again,only to be called back my Lae again. "Have you ever worn makeup?"

"No my mom says that I'm not ready"

"Oh well I think you'd look cute"Lae replied matter-of-factly.

"Really?"

"Yea...want me to give you a makeover." Tayonna seemed kind of nervous when Nae said that."Ummm I don't know," Ja'Lae hopped up and grabbed her hand pulling her out of the room.

"Oh come on girl and stop being such a baby...it'll be cute." And with that being said they were gone leaving me alone to finally finish my game. That peace was very short lived because as soon as I got back comfortable, Yah came in.

"Myra," She said causing me to pause my game again. 

"Yea,"I said slightly annoyed at the fact that my game keeps getting interrupted.

"Who's Nick?" At that very moment my entire world froze. I looked over at her and tried to stall so I can think of a good explanation. "Nick?" She smacked her lips and tilted her head.
