Chapter Eight- Rebels with a cause

"It hurts! It's hurts! Stop!"

She looked at him pointedly, "I haven't even touched you yet."

Sebastian opened one of his tight-shut eyes and looked at Belle who had a cotton pad dabbed in anti disinfectant in her hand that was at least a feet away from him ready.

He cleared his throat. "Yeah. I know. I was just making a little joke," he said trying to keep his cool.

Isabelle just looked at him. Yeah right. "Now come here, you," she said pulling his arm toward her, "and hold still."

Sebastian shut his eyes tight again and she rolled her eyes not believing that somebody who managed to get stabbed and always got into fights couldn't handle a little sting from disinfectant.

The cotton pad finally made contact to the small multiple cuts on his upper arm and he winced. Isabelle softly blew hoping that it would maybe ease the pain.

"You're being so harsh," he complained.

"What? No I'm not," Belle argued back. "You're just being a little baby."

"Could you stop yelling? Jeez, I'm injured," he said. "You're going to kill me."

She continued to stare at him, disbelieving. She wasn't even close to yelling. He was overly theatrical. "Why didn't you go to a hospital instead then?"

"No," he shook his head. "No hospitals. They'll start snooping around and that will get us into a lot of trouble."

"Speaking of which," she said as she continued to clean the wounds, "what was today all about?"

Sebastian and she were currently in Belle's bathroom. She was sitting on the edge of her bathtub while he sat on the shut lid of the toilet seat, after the quite terrifying ride on Sebastian's bike back home, a shaken up, frizzy haired (because somebody didn't provide her with a helmet and drove so fast she could almost feel her hair detach from their roots) walked up to to the door of her house. Belle observed that her house was in complete darkness which was strange because her father should have been home by then.

She slid of the bike while Sebastian went onto park it. She discovered that the front door was still locked. She started for worry for a moment. Was her father was okay?

"My father's still not home," she mumbled to herself as she took out her spare key and started to unlock the door.

"Thank God," Sebastian, who should have already been inside his own home, said appearing beside her and startling Belle. "Because I can't go home looking like this. Nonna will have a heart attack."

He pushed the door open and casually started walking...limping inside as if he owned the place.

She shut the door and stared after him as he started to ascend the stairs.

"Where are you going?"

"To your room," he said casually, disappearing upstairs and away from her line of vision.

"Why?"

"To look at your underwear drawer," he said from somewhere above.

She gasped and hurriedly locked the door and ran up after him only to find him sprawled on the floor across her carpet.

"Oh my God," she said kneeling beside him. Could all of the bleeding from his wound finally killed him? She tried pushing him but he was too heavy. "Sebastian, what's wrong? Can you hear me?"
