26 - Reunited

Men wearing Navy uniforms started surrounding us. They all pointed their guns at us.

"Hold it!" A man that looks like he's in his forties said.

"Brigadier Dun?" one of the Navies said. Wait, isn't he the guy that Millie was talking about?

"Listen, Brigadier Dun was assigned as Governor-General as of today!" One of the men that came with Brigadier Dun shouted.

"Minister Kai has been arrested because of corruption and has been forced to resign." General Dun informed. "I was the one who collected the evidence."

"Let them go." he added, the men quickly followed his instructions and lowered their guns.

"I don't need your pity!! kill me right here!" Eduardo yelled furiously for some reason. "Do you think this is some compensation for what you've done!?" he yelled louder his voice filled with nothing but hatred.

I looked at everyone and they seem to be as confused as I was. the hell is happening?

"You haven't even wrote us a single letter." Eduardo's voice turned quiet. "You married my mother because you needed votes from the Ullr people, didn't you!?"

"Kai was the one who told you, huh?" General Dun said sadly as he took a bunch of letter from his suitcase.

Whoah... there were hundreds of letters, how did that fit in the suitcase? unless.... it's a magic suitcase!

Wait what? Am I high? I've been on this weird mood swings since yesterday!

"We found these on Minister Kai, my brother's safe, he was trying to ruin me at that time." General Dun looked straight at Eduardo. "Kai stole my position and tried to tear us apart... He prevented you from receiving my letters" he sadly said

"I'm.... I'm not gonna fall for your lies!" Eduardo tried to surpress the shock he was feeling as he yelled.

"Kai has been controlling the Navies from behind the scenes..." He said as his eyes begged for forgiveness.

"Wait... Eduardo, he's telling the truth, a public officer told me that Minister Kai made moldor what it is today." I whispered, Eduardo was completely surprised at the sudden change of events.

"Governor-General Dun fought for the Ullr!"

"He banned discrimination against the Ullr!"

"Governor-General Dun is a great man!"

The people cheered with smiles on their faces.

"I-I'm not... I'm not gonna forgive this guy..." Eduardo's voice shook.

Governor Dun walked nearer to Eduardo and handed something to him.

"It's your mother's necklace..." he gently gave it to Eduardo's trembling hands.

"I'm sorry." Governor Dun said which made Eduardo look at him in shock. "I wanted to get promoted as soon as possible to save the Ullr but because of that, you and your mother had a hard time." he said as he hugged Eduardo.

"Can you forgive me?" He said as his voice shook.

Tears flowed from Eduardo's eyes...

"I'll protect the land of your mother... Son, take the path you believe in." general Dun added.

I teared up at the heartwarming reunion. Ugh... it's gonna be awkward if I cry here so I tried to stop it and it worked.

Eduardo... so he forgave his father? I'm glad...

"Psst. Guy, let's give them some privacy." I whispered to the Sirius. they nodded and boarded the ship.

-a few hours later at the sirius-

Eduardo boarded the ship after a few minutes of talking with... his father. The sirius took off and everyone went to their rooms. I was also in our room but i feel so bored... i went out to the deck and saw Eduardo watching the sunset.

"Hey..." I whispered as I snuggled next to him. i looked at him and saw his eye patch.

"You put your eye patch back on?" I smiled as i quietly asked.

"I'm used to it." he replied as he gazed at the view.

I nodded at his statement

"...what was my life all about?" he muttered after a few seconds.

"Revenge. but you can change the way you live now..." I mumbled.

"Yeah..." He smiled. "I want to make Ullr richer."

"So you're gonna give them treasure?" I asked.

"Yep." he looked at me "funny things started happening when you came."

"I'm just weird." I said and held his hand.

All of the sudden, Russell came with a grin.

"Eduardo! i thought you said you don't want frantic love stuff happening on this ship!?" he yelled jokingly.

"This is nothing like that." Eduardo replied

"Oh yeah? what's it like then?"

"Don't you have better things to do?"

"Yeah! we're having a party! Let's go!"

I laughed at the scene, parties are always lively in here. We helped prepare and partied all night.
