*Third Person's POV*

One year later...

The Sirius got off the ship, and stared at Rei's hometown, Dres Van. They were here because of a particular mail. While on sea, the Sirius received an invitation through Dres Van's eagle which carries mail for them.

It was an invitation of Prince Joshua's wedding with Claire.

Rei was eager to come because she knew she hurt him before, a lot. She wanted to see him happy at least one last time before she go on more adventures.

"Let's go, we have a party to crash." Rei cheered as she broke off into a run, followed by the Sirius.

Claire stared at herself in the mirror, never would she have thought that she could look so beautiful in a wedding dress. Tears rimmed the corner of her eyes, she's so happy. After spending time with Prince Joshua and making him smile and happy, Joshua fell in love at her gentleness, kindness and righteousness.

"It's time." The maid informed.

Claire nodded and started heading out of her room, she thought perhaps everything was just a dream.

The maids lead her through the long hall and stopped in front of a door. Everyone is behind that door. Kings, Queens, Princes, Princess, dukes, royalties from different kingdoms had come all the way in Dres Van to witness the Prince's wedding and coronation.

As soon as the door was pulled open, Claire was greeted by a horde of people, all staring at her as she walked through the long hall. She looked at Joshua with a smile as he waits for her in the altar. She loves him so much as he loves her the same.

Claire came to a halt when she reached the altar, the priest had asked them the vows of the marriage.

"Your highness, Joshua Lieben, do you take Clarisse Sierra, as your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I do." Joshua answered with a gentle smile.

"Clarisse Sierra, do you take Joshua Lieben as your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I do." Claire blushed, happiness radiating around her.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

Joshua gently took the veil off of Claire, he gazed at her before slowly leaning down. Claire and Joshua's lips met. For a moment, Claire thought that she's the happiest person in the world.

Suddenly, the doors slammed open, revealing the Sirius. Gasps emerged from the guests as they saw the pirates entering the room.

"Congratulations!" Rei shouted with a huge grin on her face, she waved at Joshua and Claire, contented at how perfect they are for each other.

"The Sirius?" Joshua mumbled as he glanced at Claire.

"Let's go greet them." Claire replied.

They headed towards the group, hand in hand. Russell and Morgan started making some ruckus with the guards who tried to make them leave while Nathan, Christopher and Eduardo stood calmly on the side.

Rei walked towards the couple with Eduardo behind her.

"I'm so happy for you two." She greeted.

"Thank you." Joshua gave a smile. He knows he should feel hurt but surprisingly, he isn't. He moved on with Claire. Sure, he loved Rei dearly but that was all in the past, they both parted ways but he couldn't just throw those memories away, the least he wants is friendship.

"Is Dres Van doing well? Especially with a new princess?" Rei asked.

"Yes, how about the life at sea?" Joshua chuckled.

"Dangerous, but you know... it's fun." Rei shrugged.

"Is that so?" Joshua turned to Eduardo, "Do watch out for her, will you?"

"Of course." Eduardo replied with a smug grin.

The party proceeded with the Sirius causing trouble here and there with the royalties. They're pirates, that's what they do.

A lot has happened and it was all because of a little mistake, if Rei hadn't boarded the Sirius in the first place, what do you think would happen?

Maybe she'll become the Princess of Dres Van with Joshua, maybe Claire will never be saved from the Skull pirates' grasp, maybe Eduardo will never know that his father had always love him and his mother.

Maybe Fate is just messing around peoples' lives, or maybe that little 'mistake' that happened years ago was actually for the best.
