"Yeah, this is my house." I sighed. My time with the Daniel and Luke was up. I doubt I'd ever see them again, I was only getting lucky lately. It couldn't continue, that would be too much like a movie. This was reality, not a cute love story. I looked at Daniel. It was like he felt me look at him because he instantly turned back to look at me.

"See you around!" He smiled.

"Bye, Skip. Bye, Luke. Thank you so much for giving me a ride." I got out of the car and walked up to my door. I patted my pockets like I usually did when I was looking for something. Where were my keys? I tried to open the door. It was locked, of course. But why didn't I have my keys? Why did bad things keep happening to me in front of the janoskians? I turned around and saw that Skip's car was still parked in front of my house. Oh man. It was still raining too. I leaned again my house. I had nothing to do but wait for my dad to get home.

"Are you just going to stand in the rain? You might as well have walked home!" Daniel called over. He had his window rolled down. I didn't want to call back over because I'm sure the neighbours would hear, and I hated drawing attention to myself. I walked over to the car.

"Um...funny story. I lost my keys." I avoided eye contact. I was such a fool.

I heard Daniel laughing, "Do you lose everything?" He was talking about my phone and my keys. I usually didn't lose anything but I guess the past couple days have been exciting. I just laughed and stood there. "So...what are you going to do?" He asked.

"Um. I don't know. Wait until my dad gets home."

"When will that be?" He looked up at me. With his face. I could cry.

"I don't know, a few hours..."

"You can't stay here in the rain for a few hours! Want to come to our place for a while? The rest of the boys are there. It'll be fun!" Did he really say that?

"I-" I stuttered, "I mean..I guess I could." He pointed to the door motioning for me to get back in. Oh my god. I was suddenly really nervous again. I fumbled with the car's door handle, but I eventually got in. It was an awkward drive, I didn't really talk that much. It took five minutes to get there. We walked into the house, and the first thing I saw was another girl sitting on the couch. Why did they have a girl here? I felt everyone look at me as I walked in so I just smiled and did an awkward little wave. Luke left to another room. I think I heard Jai in the room where Luke walked, but I wasn't sure.

"What's she doing here?" James asked curiously.

"Locked out of her house. She's going to chill with us for a while." Daniel said as he sat down by the other girl. I was still standing by the door. I looked at her. Who was she and why did Daniel sit beside her? I was too worried over nothing. Daniel and the girl were talking quietly to each other, I have no idea what they were saying. Then I saw another girl walk in with Beau, but she went to sit with James. She gave him a hug, and he hugged her back. Definitely more than friends. This was crazy, the boys didn't have girlfriends? Did they?

"Hey, Mari!" Beau said as he saw me. I smiled at him. He looked out the window and then turned to the boys, "It stopped raining so I'm going to check if we can film today. Anyone want to come?" He asked. I looked out the window. Of course it would stop raining as soon as I got inside their house. I wasn't even sure who's house this was. I was guessing it was the Brooks house though. Beau didn't get any replies so he asked more specifically, "James? Daniel? Jenny, Kat?" They shook their heads, he turned to me, "Mari? Want to come? I'm sure you wouldn't want to be a third wheel here. Or I guess fifth." He laughed. He wasn't funny but his laugh was cute, so I laughed too. I'm guessing the boys had secret girlfriends. Wow. Then it hit me. Daniel had a girlfriend. I couldn't date him. It wouldn't ever happen, but it kind of hurt to know I didn't even have a chance.
