Chapter Twenty Five

* Courtney POV *

Tay had been on his phone a lot the last few minutes. I parked up to notice he was texting Nash.

"You okay?" I ask.

He nods. "Yeah, just talking with Nash. He said there's a problem" he looked concerned.

I asked, "what's the problem" yet he simply ignored me.

"Tay, baby, whats wrong?"

"Um...er..Nash said that my uh- my ex just turned up at his and Carter's place"

My face dropped.

"You don't need to worry, princess" I guess he could see the worry on my face.

"I-I'm not worried. I just- is she- what's her name?" I refrained from aksing him what she and him once had, or how things want badly or why they ended things.

"Ava"

"What does she look like?"

"Ombré hair. Blue eyes. Tanned" she sounds like she looks amazing. She's obviously a lot prettier than me. I'm not much to look at but by the sound of it, she sure is.

I mumble an okay and look away. I roll over a try to sleep, trying ti get my mind off the fact that my boyfriend's ex has come into town.

"You okay babe?" I hum yes and close my eyes, hoping to sleep.

A few minutes pass before I feel Taylor laying behind me and wrapping his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. "You have nothing to worry about. Sleep well my princess" he whispers, kissing my head.

I woke up and noticed that Taylor wasn't in bed.

"Tay?"

"In the kitchen"

I walk into tho kitchen and find Taylor cooking breakfast for the two of us. He looks at me and smiles, sending a little wink at the end.

He placed everything onto two plates and we are up. Once we had finished, we both got ready for the day.

"We're going to Nash's today" I nod and begin brushing my teeth in the bathroom.

I grab my bag and then Taylor's hand as we walk out I my house and towards his car. He drives us to Nash's.

We walk up and knock on the door. "Nash?" Tay calls out.

"Out here" we here him shout from the garden.

Tay and I walk into Nash's garden and outside we see Nash, Cameron, Carter and a girl who I'm guessing is Ava.

"Hey guys" says Taylor as he walked over to them. He man hugs all the guys.

I walk over to Nash. "Hey"

"Hi, um, Nash, who's she?" I ask.

He looks nervous yet tells me anyway. "That's Ava, um, Taylor's ex girlfriend" I nod and look down at the ground.

"Hey, Courtney, don't worry. They were over almost a year and a half ago. He finished it with her because she cheated on him. Really there's nothing to worry about" I nod again and hug Nash.

"What would I do without you Nash?"

I really would be lost without him.

He shrugs and hugs me tighter. Me and Nash have been so close and I see him more as my brother now than a friend.

We let go and walk over to everyone else.

The boys all look between me and Ava and it is silent. Silent until she spoke up.

"So your the new whore?"
