I sat quietly looking at the window. Feeling a buzz in my pocket I looked down and saw a text from my mom reading 'where the hell are you'. I rolled my eyes as I put her contact on do not disturb and shut off my phone
"Why so silent darling?" kol asked
"Honestly. I don't want to go home" I said quietly
"And why is that?" He asked
"What are you my therapist?" I laughed
"Just tell me" he said
"I hate my family" I said bluntly
"Now I have an excuse to hate my family but I really don't see yours" he said
"I'm like an abomination to them, I literally try to keep them from the hidden danger that they don't know they're exposed to" I say
"Maybe they're not in danger and your just crazy" kol said taking a quick glance at me
"Mhmm says the thousand year old vampire" I laughed
~Time Skip~
*Third Person*
Kol took a slight glance over at Ava to see her sound asleep he looked back at the road and couldn't help but smile. As he kept driving Ava's phone just kept vibrating. With each vibration kol's curiosity grew till he couldn't take it anymore he pulled over the car and picked up Ava's phone looking at the screen seeing the name Tyler pop up on the screen each time the phone vibrated. With the same 10 text which read 'Ava please answer me I'm so sorry'. Kol rolled his eyes reply to the text with 'leave her alone'
~Time Skip~
I sat on my bed reading a book like the bore I am. Till my mother busted through my door waking Lydia up from her sleep
"Where the hell where you?!" She screamed
"New Orleans" I answer slowly turning my book page
"I am so done with you shit! You were supposed to stay here
"And I was supposed to come on the trip with you guys" I said bluntly
"Don't give me that shit" she said
"Lydia is right here" I said
"How about you worry about your damn self for once she is not your child" she rolled her eyes
"Well you don't treat her like yours" I said
"You don't even let me" she yelled
"Just get the FUCK out of my room" I said putting a emphasis on 'fuck'
I sat on my bed holding Lydia close to my side as I saw my mother look at me with what I thought was guilt but deep down inside I knew from the bottom of my heart she could careless about me that I did her.
