I opened my eyes to see that I was in a hospital. Not to mention my head was pounding. I slowly got up and as I did the pain in my head got worse.
"Easy there" I hear from the side of me
"What hospital are we at?" I ask
"Mystic Falls" kol says
"How long was I out?" I ask
"Since you passed out in the car, Doctor says you have a mild concussion" he says
I pulled the covers off of my body and let my feet hang from the side of the hospital bed. I looked over at kol to see Lydia sleeping on his chest and I couldn't help but smile.
"I need to get out of here" I say looking at kol
"Then wait to get discharged" he smiled
"Kol" I whined
"What am I supposed to do about the problem" he joked
"If you don't compel them to let me out I will beat your ass, and that is a promise" I threatened
"That's why I like you" he said
I watched as he stood up with Lydia in his arms and walked out of the room. I jumped off of the bed and changed out of the hospital gown.
"You are free to leave" kol said walking into the room
"You would make a great father" I smirked
I watched as he grabbed Lydia's hand and picked her up.
"I can't have kids and I don't have time for them" he says
"Adoption and babysitters" I smile

I walked around the neighborhood looking for something to past the time. It was now 1:00 am and my insomnia was kicking in. That's when I saw a random guy draining the life out of a woman I let out a loud scream that I didn't know I had. I saw the guy look back at me and in a blink of an eye he was in front of me feeding off of me. I was quick to pull out a gun and shoot him in the stomach knowing that it wouldn't so much damage but it would give me sometime.
I knew that I wouldn't be able to run fast enough so I ran to the closest house and knocked on the door. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw it was the Gilbert girl
"Please let me in I was just attack by a" I say showing her my neck cause I knew some of her family members didn't know
I let out another sigh of relief as she nodded her head and I walked inside.
