My eyes opened slowly as a headache started to form, my vision was blurry for a second but then I could see where I was. It was dark and it looked like a cell, I squinted my eyes as the door opened and light shined in. I looked up and saw the familiar face of the guy who knocked me out.
"What do you want?" I groaned
"Nothing from you, you're just leverage" the man said
"For what?" I asked
"Your boyfriend, Kol Mikaelson" he said
"He's not my boyfriend" I rolled my eyes
"Well in order to make sure you would comply with the rules I have someone for you" he said
I watched as he walked out of the cell and turned the corner. I heard screaming, I could tell it was a girl he had, he stepped back into the room with a person I knew too well.
My mom
My whole world was falling apart and I didn't want to admit it but the only people who can save me was the Mikaelsons but I just wanted Kol.
"Now that I have leverage on you let's give you little boyfriend a call" he said
"He is not my boyfriend!" I yelled
I knew he was scrolling through my contacts, I saw him finger tap something and then tapped another thing. That's when I heard the ringing, I just wanted him to pick up.
"Who is he calling?" My mom asked
"Someone I hope won't be stupid enough to actually come" I said
I could see the stake tucked in his pocket, it was white oak I could tell after all I practically grew up learning stuff like this. The man was planning on killing Kol and I would rather die then let him die which was very stupid but I would allow it. I was too deep into my thoughts to realized Kol picked up.
"Ava, I was literally just about to call you" Kol answered the phone
"I have you girlfriend sitting here right now" the man said
"Who is this?" Kol asked
"Someone who wants you here, you either come and you precious Ava might live or you don't and her and her mother die, the choice is yours Mikaelson" the man said
"Is Ava okay?" Kol asked
"Why don't you talk to her" the man said putting the phone on my lap
"Ava" Kol said
"Kol don't come, he is going to kill you" I warned him
"Good eyes kiddo" the man said
"Then you will die and I will never forgive myself" Kol said
"I'd rather die than break your streak of a thousand some years" I said
" I'm coming, just hold on tight and when we're out of there I will tell you how sorry I am" he said
I couldn't help but smile, with Kol you could never stay mad at him and if your were able to stay mad at him you are crazy.
"Bye Kol" I said
"See you soon darling" he said
