As I laid in my death bed it gave me time to think about all the great things that have happened, even though I didn't have the best life the good in my life definitely topped the bad. I had the Mikaelsons for christ sake, not many people could say that considering everybody either hated the or they hated the person most of the time it was both. I couldn't stop coughing up blood for the past few hours so that's when they decided to call everyone up so they could say their goodbye's, I was slightly relived when they said they were gonna take care of Lydia the only problem I had about her life was the grief she was gonna have to go through I wasn't gonna get her compelled because if she lived with the Mikaelsons there was a high chance that she was gonna become a vampire and then every memory of me would rush back to her.
I was sitting in my room that I had when I was in New Orleans looking through pictures me and Rebekah took over the years I could tell that she was trying her best not to cry but she was failing miserably.
"Why do I always have to lose the people I love?" She asked bursting into tears
"Bex don't cry because then your gonna make me cry and I don't like crying" I said on the verge of tears
"Look at this remember on Lydia's 3rd birthday she put cake all over your face" I smiled at the photo then showing it to her
As we looked through more photos it became harder for me to keep my eyes open but I tried but soon gave up quickly passing out, the last thing I could hear was Rebekah's loud cries. The black that I saw before was soon replaced by a big park filled with kids I looked to my side to see Rebekah I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"I guess this is it huh" I said
"I'm gonna miss everything about you, and I am so grateful for what you have done for me and I'm so happy you came in my life and I hope Lydia grows up to be cool and badass like you because I'm gonna miss you so much" She ranted
"One last hug for old times sake" I said pulling her into a massive hug
My scenery was changed to the Mystic Grill where I saw Klaus and Elijah
"We didn't know you that well but for all that you did for our sister we don't really need to know you to say how grateful we are for you" Elijah said
"Even though she can be a pain in the ass we are happy you never gave up on her and we will take care of Lydia like she is our own" Klaus said
"Thank you guys even though I didn't know you for that long you guys have been like a family to me and for that I thank you" I say giving them a hug
The scenery was again changed I was now at the top of a cliff and I could see everything from there, I turned around to see Kol I smiled but soon my eyes filled with tears. I could stay strong for everyone else but when I saw Kol I just couldn't help it I loved him with all my heart and I am never gonna be able to have a relationship with him or even see a future because I was gonna be dead.
"Don't cry I didn't come here to make you cry darling" He spoke with that same snarky accent that I fell in love with
"I don't wanna die" I say taking a seat on the cliff
"Well if it makes you feel better I don't want you to die" He said taking a seat next to me
"You think you can bring Lydia in here?" I asked
"Yes hold on a second" He said as he disappeared and everything when black
After a few second everything was back and Lydia was here I smiled as she ran into her arms
"Lydia baby I don't have much time left I have to leave" I said as she sat in the middle of Kol and I
"Mommy where are you going?" She questioned tilting her little head to the side like a little puppy
"Mommy has to go some where and you're not gonna see her again but she will be able to see you always" I said as I almost broke at the sound of her calling me mommy
"So when you want to talk to mommy just call out and I will be listening I promise" I said holding out my pinkie
"Okay Mommy" She said wrapping her pinkie in mine
"Now go find auntie Rebekah" I smiled kissing her cheek for the last time
I watched as she disappeared into thin air leaving me and Kol sitting together.
"I love you" He said
"I love you too" I said resting my head on his shoulder
"I have loved you ever since I met you and your personality dragged me in deeper, your way with kids, you're badass moments, and you're smile oh god your smile" Kol laughed
"And now I have to live the rest of my life without you what a long sad life I will have" He said his voice slightly cracking
"I don't want you to stop your life Kol I want you to find a girl even if she looks like me just find another girl maybe Davina she is pretty awesome if you can hangout with her" I smiled
"Not as awesome as you" He said
"If you don't get with Davina I will rise from the dead and kill you" I joked
"I feel so weak" I said
"Well I guess it's time for the part we have been avoiding the goodbye part" He said
"Goodbye Ava one of the best people I have every met in my entire 1,000 I don't even know years I wish I could have saved you but I'd rather respect your wishes rather than shape you into something you don't want to be" He said
"Goodbye Kol one of the best mistakes I have ever made which is saying a lot because I make a lot of mistakes I will always love you and my ultimate wish is for you to find love again and be happy" I said as my eyes started to droop
Kol quickly attached his lips to mine kissing me passionately, it wasn't like the kisses I used to receive this on was full of love as soon as we both pulled away I mouthed 'I love you' to him as my eyes closed forever leaving me in full darkness.
