Up top is the bridge you'll read about later!

I knew I should've changed into Rhys Emerson when I met Jay at Central Park.

Because sure enough, my celebrity friends who knew better than to believe in tabloids, came marching in with covers of me smiling, laughing, and looking down at the ground.

"Miss Skyler, what have you not been telling us?" Gigi called, blowing her whistle. I winced as she plopped down on the newly transformed living room.

Yes, I was Blair Waldorf with slumber parties.

"Guys, you know that stuff is-" I started, then realized I couldn't say false since I did actually meet Jay.

"False, yeah, we know. But aside from the fact you haven't told us anything about your relationship status," Taylor said, then was cut off by Cara.

"We do care, you know," she said, giving me a weird look.

"I'm sorry, it's just, I don't know. I do like him, but sometimes I feel like we're losing our spark. Does that even make sense?" I squeaked, drawing my long-ass legs close to my chest.

Karlie stayed silent, she knew the most out of all of us. I really should tell them more, I thought as they were looking down, deep in thought.

"I'm going to make us some iced tea. You haven't finished your Teavana stash yet, have you?" Karlie asked, standing up so she can add her comments later.

I shook my head. "Go on ahead."

"Maybe you don't actually like him." Selena pronounced, helping herself to one of Karlie's cookies. I took one and munched on it thoughtfully.

"What do you mean? I've always liked him." I said, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Well, what draws you in? Aside from how he looks, what? We live in a world of Harry Styles and gorgeous male models, what makes him stand out?" Selena pointed out.

"Well, he's not a male model for one," I said.

"Yeah, but Zack isn't a male model either. Why don't you like him?" Lily piped up, her eyes drilling into me with seriousness.

I squirmed. "He's my friend?" I whispered.

Selena sighed. "It's just, if you don't even like Jay, then don't go out with him." She said.

"But I don't even know if I don't like him or if I do anymore!" I shouted, ready to pull out my hair.

"Berry kiwi colada," Karlie said, setting a tray full of mugs in front of us. I took one, distracting myself by taking a huge gulp out of it.

"Okay, who makes you cry at night?" Taylor interrupted. I rolled my eyes, knowing she was trying to find wisdom in one of her songs. I could bet that she was taking this out of Teardrops On My Guitar right now.

"No one." I said but they gave me disbelieving glances.

"Okay, Caprina! But she's-" I said and was cut off again. I guess I should be happy my friends know me so well, but their ability to finish my sentences was annoying sometimes.

"-Jay's friend. And is he doing anything to help?" Karlie demanded.

I thought hard for a second, pursing my lips.

We've been friends since we were in kindergarten.

I'll tell you if anything happens.

I've seen the way he looks at you, Skyler.

I know you mean more to him than you think.
