Chapter 17

Emma's P.O.V:

Its been four months since i've been living with Emily and the pack,there are new additional members to it,Embry,Jared and Jacob.Jacob was actually surprised to see me since he hasn't seen me when I last went to La Push.

I've been getting along great with them,but I never saw them phase.I've also been e-mailing mom and dad alot telling them everything is fine.

"Embry,running so fast!"I screamed covering my face,right now he had me over his shoulder and he kept running fast on purpose,"what?haven't you ridden on vampires back before?"he asked twirling around, "I have but i'm not used to it"I groaned

"Embry stop messing around with Snowy here"Jared said messing up my hair from where I was hanging from Embry's back,"hey hey hey!hands off the hair" "whatever squirt"he said ruffling my hair again,I groaned.

"remind me again why you guys dont wear a shirt"I asked,"'cuz we're hot"Paul said smirking,I rolled my eyes "in temperature but not in body fitness''I mumbled "we heard that!"they said in unison,"whatevs"I said,"let me down Embry!please!"I begged

"under one condition"he said,"and what might that be?"I asked,"kiss me"he said smirking,"I will if you let me down"I sighed.

He put me down "I lied"I grinned and ran away,"thats cheating!"he said chasing after me along with the guys.I stopped dead in my tracks seeing who was approaching us,I was frozen on that spot.

I almost forgot about her,"I finally caught you!"Embry said almost tackling me,he looked at Bella then at the pack.Bella came stomping toward us "what did you do?!okay what did you do to him?!"Bella yelled pushing Sam,Embry held my arm in case one of them phases.

"what did we do?what did he tell you?"Paul said through clenched teeth,"nothing!he tells me nothing because he's scared of you!"Bella argued,"both of you calm down"Sam said in his Alpha tone.

The guys laugh,Bella got mad and slapped Paul,I gulped, bad idea Bells.

Embry gripped me really tight,I tried to pull away "Embry stop your hurting me"I winced trying to release his grip,Paul started shaking and the next thing  now he's a wolf! "Bella go,now!"Sam ordered,she ran as Jake came out and phased and started fighting Paul.

I saw black spots,I tried to blink them away but no use,I passed out.

Embry's P.O.V:

I let go of my grip on Emma when Jacob and Paul left,all I heard was a thud I looked down and saw Emma passed out "umm Jared what happened to Emma?"I asked, leaning over her,he sighed "dude,you held her too tight,her blood circulation got cut off"he said checking her pulse,"she's still alive"he said getting up and carrying her

"she's pretty light"He said,I nodded "come with us Bella we'll take you to Emily's"I said and dragged her to her truck.
