Vax was holding my Adeline's arm, I really want to punch him in the face and rip his throat out with my bare teeth. My mate was completely scared and had no idea what to do, I have to save her from this asshole and hug my mate. And tell her that I'm always there to protect no matter how bad the situation is.

"You and I will have a duel for Addy and for packs, that is if you are desperate to save Addy." He said as he grabbed Addy's face and kissed her.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH MY MATE!!"

"Then let's have a duel. Just in case any of you get in the way, I'll give you something to play with." He snapped his fingers and four of his pack members appeared going towards to and made sure they wouldn't interfere between us. Vax tied Adeline's hand next to the stairs railing with sturdy rope. She sat there with a worried look on her face and she looked towards me, I knew she was telling me to be careful.

Vax walked down the stairs and removed his shirt at the same time. We were now a few feets away from each other. Vax was smirking with confidence that he is going to win, but I can't let that happen at all, I can't lose my Adeline, my Addy.

We both shifted to our alpha wolves, his wolf is dark chocolate fur, but his eyes were completely different eye color, mixed brown and red. His wolf and human side are struggling their sanity in check, this is an unstable werewolf. Both sanity and obsession for Addy is a crazy wolf combo and it is going to be a difficult challenge as an alpha and mate of Addy.

We both growled at each other, showing our canine teeth, snapping and barking to one another. I patiently waited for the right moment to fight and I knew he was going to strike first. He struck the first attack, running towards with pure intention to kill his competition. I waited for a bit, just waiting for him to get a bit closer to me and when he did, I dodged his attack and chomped at his shoulder blade. He whimpered a bit but covered his pain with his growls. He tried to reach for my neck but I let go of his shoulder blade as blood oozed out. He bit down on my hind leg, ignoring the pain taking the opportunity, I bit on his ear ripping out of his head. He cried in pain as he let go of my leg and he stepped aside a bit, shaking head. He turned around, his were redder than earlier, more rage in his eyes and insanity took over.

He attacked me viciously, grabbing my neck, tossing me to the ground like a ragged doll that isn't wanted. God, his bites are worse than his bite from earlier. Vax rushed towards me again, but I managed to dodge it again, I rammed myself into his side, causing him to hit one of the beams of the house. Vax got up and wheezed as saliva fell from his mouth. We circled each other just growling each other and we attacked each other at the same time.

Vax grabbed the neck and started to ripping my fur out, I knew I was in trouble, I needed an opportunity to turn the tables. Until I heard an angelic voice that interrupted the fight.

"Vax, stop this. This is not going to help you at all! I surrender to you, I will always love you!" I knew it was the distraction, taking the opportunity, I bit his neck ripping his throat out of his body. Blood sprayed all over my face and my fur on my chest. Blood flooded out his ripped throat as fell down to the ground. I won this battle. I tasted blood ran down in my throat, I let go the meat of his fall from my mouth with a THUNK making blood splatter around it. I shifted back to human form, blood still on me like a magnet.

"ADDY!" I ran upstairs where was at. I heard her cries as she saw me get closer with every step I take. I ripped the ropes off of her with my claws and hugged tightly, never wanting to let go of her. I started to cry, didn't care what anyone says about me crying for my mate.

"To...o....ti...ti...ght...Xav..." I noticed that she couldn't breathe and then I loosen my grip for her to breathe once again. "I can breathe again."
