An Alpha's Love

Chapter Two

Xavier

"Joshua, get a several of our warriors and order them to check around the perimeter making sure there is no rogues trying to cross our territory." I ordered Joshua. Joshua is the beta of my pack. And I am the alpha of the White Moonstone Pack.

"Yes, Alpha. I forgot to tell you something. There is a new human family that just moved here from Pennsylvania. What would you like me to do?"

"New human family?" I asked him as I leaned on my office chair.

"Yes, Alpha. Would you like for me to investigate today or tomorrow?"

A new human family...Moving here in small town? "Might as well investigate today. Make sure they're not a threat to the pack. Report to me tomorrow on what you know about them."

"Yes, Alpha." Joshua bowed and left my office.

I sat at my chair and let my hand run through my black hair. I yawned and stretched my body. I heard my neck pop. That felt nice. I looked towards my right and saw a picture of my parents happily together. I never thought about having a mate. I don't know if I wanted one or not. Maybe because I'm scared she won't be what I imagined or if I put my standards too high or too low.

Don't get worry, Xavier. We will find our mate. I have a good feeling about tomorrow. Our Moon goddess will lead us to our mate. My wolf, named Jason, spoke.

I laughed. At least, my wolf is trying to cheer me up. I looked up at the clock, it's already late. Great. There's school tomorrow. I closed my eyes and took deep breathes trying to relax myself. After I felt relaxed, I went to my room; got on my bed and slept.

Adeline

I was woken by my mother. "Sweetie, get up you're already late for school."

"What?" School? What is she tal-. "Holy unicorns!" I really hate cussing. I only cuss when I'm up to my limit. And yes, I love unicorns and I believe in them so don't judge people. I immediately got up and start looking for my clothes in one of my boxes.

"Hurry, you better get ready. I'm going to wake up your brother."

"Alright, mom." She went to my brother's room.

"OH FUCK!" I heard on the other side of my wall. Then I heard a smack and an 'ouch'.

"Watch your language, Travis." I heard my mom. "I told you a thousand times already stop cussing in this household."

"Sorry mom." Travis said and my mom went down to the kitchen. My mom doesn't like how my brother cusses because he curses a lot and I do mean a lot.

I giggled. Oh unicorns, my family have funny moments sometimes.

After we got ready, ate breakfast, and dad dropped us off behind the school where parking lots are at. "Are guys sure you got this?" My dad asked.

"Yeah, we got this dad. Right, Addy?" Travis asked me. I nodded.

"Alright then. Good luck guys and behave."

"Yes dad." We said in unison. I got off the car and closed the car when I noticed my dad talking to Travis and Travis nodded. And got off the car.

"What was that about?" I asked him.

"Nothing much." He was totally hiding something from me, but I wasn't going to ask.

"Oh, there's the office." I pointed.

"Hey, check out that hotty. Hey baby, what's your name?" One of the male students approached to me and I stepped back kind of getting scared.

Then Travis went in front of me. "Touch my baby sister, I will rip your testicles out, shove it in your mouth, and hang you on that flagpole for crows lunch." He gave them sinister smile while popping his knuckles.

"Uh...sorry...I didn't know she was your sister..." The male student voice sounded shaky.

"Well, now you know." He grabbed my hand and we started walking to the office pushing the boy aside. He stopped once we are farther away from him. He grabbed my shoulders and looked at me. "Are you alright, Addy?"

I nodded. My brother knows that I feel really uncomfortable when guys approach to me and I start to get shaky. When I was in middle school, there was a boy that I liked and I thought he was nice, but it didn't turn out that way. I almost got raped by him if it weren't for my brother who came just in time. And yes, he beat the crap out of him.

I felt him hugging me trying to calm me down. "Shh, I'm right here. It's okay now."

I was starting to calm down. "Feeling better?" I nodded.

"Even though you're over protective, you're always my hero and the greatest brother that I ever had." I smiled at him.

"Don't need to tell me when I already know." He chuckled.

I laughed. "Whatever. Let's go to the office already and get our schedules." I let go of him. When we entered the office, we saw the lady behind her desk and she looked up. "May I help you?"

"Yes, we're the transfer students, Travis and Adeline Woods." Travis said to her.

"Oh, you're the students that moved from Pennsylvania, right?"

"Yes." We said in unison. As she looked for our schedule until she found them.

A male student came to her side and sat one of the chairs, I believe he's a TA (teacher's assistant). His cheeks had little freckles with sky blue eyes and blonde hair. He looked very handsome. "Here's your maps and schedule, Travis and Adeline Woods. Drake, can you take them to their classes?"

"Yes of course. Follow me." He instructed us.

"May I look at your schedule?" Drake asked me. I gave my schedule to my brother and hid behind him. Drake looked at me curiously.

"I'm sorry about my sister. She's really shy especially around guys." Travis said as he gave his and my schedule to Drake.

"Oh, alright then. Then we'll drop her off first then. Since you guys came late today. Your class ends at 11:00 a.m. and lunch starts at 11:05 to 11:50 a.m."

"Sounds good."

We got to my first class. Oh man, I'm already getting really nervous, I'm too shy when it comes to meeting new people. Unicorns poop! I grabbed on Travis arm, trying to calm myself.

"Hey don't worry Addy. You'll be fine. I'll come for you when class is over. I promise." I nodded.

"Alright then, go in. Be brave."

I went in the classroom, when I looked back my brother waved good-bye, I waved back and he left. He better come when class is over. As I went across the room, students were staring at me hearing whispers at the same time. I went to the teacher and the teacher looked up to me. She had a brunette hair, light skin with a tannish tone, and nice brown eyes. "Hi there, may I help you?"

"I'm a new student and here's my schedule." I gave it to her. She looked at it and told me to sit down where ever seat I like. Great, I'm already hatting this class.
