The rest of the day dragged sluggishly behind Haley. Alison and Lydia had disappeared, meaning Haley had to fend for herself. The boys were no help.

Following school hours she ended up alone in the house as stiles kicked her out the car because Scott needed to do something at Derek's. She protested several times, saying that she could handle the next thing coming, but stiles denied her the opportunity and ended up pulling her out of the car. The only thing that didn't make her pissed about that night was the fact she had a party to go to later.

Stiles finally arrived back at the house and didn't wait to usher his twin back in the car. "Well that was pointless." Haley muttered as she clambered over Scott and into the back seat.

Stiles chose to ignore the comment, driving on to the road and toward heathers. The pair had known heather from a very young age, being linked by their mothers friendship. Stiles and heather were always slightly closer as Haley never liked meeting new people. It was too much work, even as a child. Her train of thought drifted off when her gaze came to settle on Scott's arm. Two bands circled his bicep, much to haleys disliking.

"What the hell is that?" Haley asked as she grabbed Scotts arm to twist it for a better inspection. The car swerved at the sudden noise and movement, followed by a muttering of words from her right.

"It's a tattoo." Scott stated as his eyes caught sight of her thumb trying to rub it off.

A sigh escaped her lips as she gave up rubbing it. "You have got to be kidding me McCall." She groaned as her hand left his arm but her gaze didn't.

Scott eyes widened and his lip puffed As he saw her expression. "You don't like it." His voice wavered as if he was going to cry. A brick felt like it came down on haleys chest, just like whenever she would see a child cry.

"No. No. I do. I'll grow to like it. It's fine Scott. Don't cry." She apologised as she patted the tattoo slightly awkwardly. His eyes light up and he laughed slightly, oh the dick faked.

She scowled at him before she noticed the familiar house and music thriving through it. Annoyed at both of them she chose to ignore the speeches they were exchanging to boost themselves, instead walking past them and slipping into the chaotic party in front of her. She quickly greeted heather before being introduced to a wave  people she didn't know. Her eyes widened as her social anxiety and awkwardness crept forward, the only thing to push it back, she thought, was alcohol.

15 minutes into the party Haley had become intoxicated by whatever was in the punch. She still hung on the corners of groups, still slightly afraid at any weird interaction.

"Hey." A voice sounded from behind her. Her eyebrows furrowed as her mind sifted through all the familiar voices until she knew who it was.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" She turned around and smiled casually up at him. The same smirk as earlier placed on his lips.

"I snuck in. Thought I might see some people here I know." He answered, his tone the same as before. Haley nodded, sipping from her red solo cup again, her body language alone showing how drunk she was.

"Unlucky for you it's just me my brother and Scott." She noted, swaying un rhythmically to the music. The smirk fell from aiden's lips as soon as the last name was stated. His eyes darting around the room before falling back on the girl in front of him.

"Scott McCall?" He asked, bending down slightly so the small girl could answer.

"Yeah? I didn't know you know Scott. How do you know Scott?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowing, she was certain the day before when being pulled away from the twins that Scott didn't even glance at them.

Aiden shook his head before his smirk re appeared. "I don't. Forget I asked, want to dance?" He switched the subject quickly, making haleys interest grow. But she couldn't ask anything as her hand was being guided to the centre of the dance floor.

Then her mind forgot.

They were dancing to the music carelessly, people's gazes occasionally digging into their backs. Haley was laughing as she was spun around, her feet stumbling every now and then due to the extra lack of coordination. The music echoed through the rooms, along with the vibrations the speakers gave to the floor and walls. She felt her phone begin to buzz in her back pocket, choosing to ignore it. It buzzed again. She didn't think anything of the buzzing against her Jean pocket. It was aiden who picked it out, looking at the caller id before handing it to her.

"Someone obviously wants to get a hold of you." He stated as he outstretched his hand in the small gap between them. She glared at him before taking her phone and answering it.

"Hello?" She called over the loud music playing. Scotts muffled voice came from the other end.

"The girls are outside. We are all leaving. Come outside." Scott nearly demanded, making Haley huff at the order. She shook her head at aiden aggravatedly before she realised, he wasnt like Scott, he couldn't hear her conversation.

"I'm fine with staying here thanks. Have a nice night." She stated sarcastically through the phone before hanging up and shoving her phone in her pocket. Aiden smirked at the now pissed off drunk girl in front of him. He knew keeping her there would piss of the group.
That's what he was told to do.

His head lowered with the music so he was just slightly higher than her. He tilted it slightly, closing his eyes. Something attached itself to his lips, but it wasn't hers. His eyes snapped open to see the girl infront of him covering his mouth with her hand.

"I should really be going. I shouldn't piss them off more than I already have." She smiled apologetically. Aiden's eyes were wide in shock, that had never happened before. A low growl rose from his throat, she said she was going to stay. Her hand fell from his lips as she backed up slightly toward the door.

"I'll see you around aiden." She stated, beginning to walk to the door. He gave her a small wave, soon reciprocated by her. But his gaze never left her as she turned around and left into the cold night air.

"We are leaving because alison and Lydia have marks that are the same. By the same person?" Haley asked skeptical about the bruises. Scott nodded, pulling the arms closer together to show the symmetry.

"See?" He prodded the girl infront of him. She only let out a sigh, eyeing the pattern on the skin.

"But what if it's just because it was the same person, the same pattern because of the way she holds thing?" She asked, looking from the three to the door opening and stiles stumbling out. Her attention spiked on her brother, her gaze trailing up and down to see anything in particularly wrong.

"Are you okay? Have you seen heather at all? I couldn't find her in the party." Haley asked, stepping in front of his line of sight. He shook his head slightly, his gaze following Lydia before Haley stepped in front.

"I'm okay. I haven't seen heather. Why would I have seen heather?" Stiles jumbled the words together, his hand rubbing the back of his neck anxiously. He looked like he was searching for something, but nothing was there. Just the darkness covering the road.

"We were at her party." Haley dead panned, stiles nodded slowly as if to say he understood her. Haley dismissed her brother, narrowing it down to alcohol which made him act weirder than normal. Lydia looked disheartened by haleys last words to them, her eyes never leaving the bruises tracing along her skin.

"Maybe we should just ask Derek. Get a third opinion." Lydia suggested, sending ripples of nodding through the group.

That day seemed bad but the next would be worse.
