"What are your intentions with my big brother?" Claire glared up at Peter. "He might be older than me but he is a soft, cute, cry baby."

Peter chuckled, "I promise I wont be hurting your soft, cute, cry baby brother anytime soon." He hooked his arm around my waist and pulled me close. I blushed a deep red color that only got worse with that stupid smirk my mom was wearing.

"You must be Peter," She rushed over and suffocated him in a huge hug. She spotted Emmett who was hiding behind Peter's leg. "And who's this little guy?"

Emmett grinned. "I'm Emmett and I'm five years old! I'm Caleb's big brother since my daddy and Jay are getting married!"

I chocked on my own spit and Peter had a similar reaction. "Where'd you hear that, champ?"

He giggled, "auntie Miranda told me."

Peter grumbled under his breath and my mom just cooed. We made our way into the kitchen where Claire was busy moving about a few different dished adding spices and tasting them. She'd always wanted to be a chef and open her own restaurant.

"Gimme my ingredients," she snatched the bag from my hands and blew a quick kiss to which I rolled my eyes but caught none the less.

As I entered the dining room I see my dad having a casual conversation with Peter and my mom was busy fawning over Emmett and Caleb, who had freshly arisen from his nap, I grinned at the sight.

I plopped down in the dining chair and grabbed Caleb from Emmett's hands, of course he did not appreciate this. Caleb giggled and that caused Emmett to smile warmly. I swear nobody is ever going to hurt this child with him around.

"Have you thought about where you're going to move, Jay?" My mother asked.

I shrugged, "I really liked the first house we went to see, but I don't know yet." She nodded and we went on to talk about pretty much everything under the sun until Claire came out with pretty much a feast.

Emmett, of course, was excited to eat everything so that he could get to that cotton candy. I couldn't really focus on eating because I was too busy over sexualizing everything that Peter did.

After a long, and happy dinner (filled with my parents playfully interrogating Peter) we ended up back at my house. "I hope my parents didn't badger you too much."

He shook his head and snaked his hands around my waist. "Nothing's too much for you, soft and cute." I felt my cheeks heat once he lovingly brought our lips together. "Goodnight." he whispered against my lips. My fingers curled tighter around Caleb's carrier.

"Goodnight," I muttered like a shy person, which I am not. "Bye, Emmett."

Emmett rubbed his droopy eyes and slurred something that kind of sounded like goodnight. As soon as I stepped into the house I saw a piece of paper flourish. I quickly picked it up and read the neat handwriting:

I am so thankful that you took in my son. I think you deserve to know who I am. Meet me at the old park near the building where you work tomorrow. I am truly sorry that I cannot take care of my little Caleb, but I'm glad that you can give him the life he deserves.

My heart hammered in my chest.
