Siva's POV:
I was sitting at the table reading when the phone rang.
Hello? I asked.
Mr. Kaneswaran- George? It's Mrs. McGreggs and your son Thomas is in the hospital.
Wha- Why? What happen?! Is he ok? What hospital? I asked panicking.
(Random hospital in Manchester) ******'s Hospital. Mrs. McGreggs told me.
My husband is driving to the school though. He's already left. I said crying now.
Please stay calm. I'm at the hospital and I'll have someone tell your husband as soon as he gets to the school. Mrs. McGreggs told me.
I don't want him driving. He'll be upset and mad and he has our younger son eith him. I said remembering Max has Nathan with him.
School is over now. I'll have my Secretary drive him over. I can call her now. Mrs. McGreggs told me.
O-o-k. I stuttered out hanging up
My son. My baby. My child is in the hospital. For what? I broke down crying for who knows how long until I ran out of the house and started my car to ******'s hospital.
As soon as I got there I asked for Tom Kaneswaran-George. A nurse showed me his room where Mrs. McGreggs sat by his bed.
What happen? I asked as I looked at Tom who had a cast on his right arm.
School fight again. I'm not sure what caused it, but when I got to the scene Tom was surrounded by a group of boys.
I'm so sorry. Mrs. McGreggs said with tears in her eyes.
Thank you. I said smiling through my own tears.
For what? She asked completely confused.
For helping my son. For getting him here and stopping the fight from harming him anymore. I said as Max ran in.
What happen? He asked out of breath.
Mrs. McGreggs explained it to him and Max thanked her the same as me. Mrs. McGreggs then left for home.
Uh....Max where's Nathan? I asked him noticing our other baby wasn't here.
Maureen took him to her house. Her other son is in Tom's class. He's ok. I trust her. Max assured.
Its not that I don't trust her either, but Nathan hasn't been babysat by anyone yet nor been away from Max or I yet.
Tom woke up a couple minutes later, and a doctor came in and said we could take him home. It was 7pm by the tine we left the hospital.
Tom was quiet in the car. Max hugged him while I drove.
You guys care about me? Tom asked breaking the silence.
We love you Tom. Always have always will. Why would you ask that? I asked ad Max hugged him gently but tighter.
Because you spend all your time with Nathan. Tom spoke quietly.
We have to. He's only a baby. He needs someone to feed him, change his diaper and clothes, give him a bath, and help him. We don't love you any less Tom. Never think that. Max explained to him as we got home. I called Maureen and she told me she could watch Nathan for the night so we could be with Tom.
Where is Nathan? Tom asked noticing Nathan wasn't here.
With the McGuiness'. He'll be back home tomorrow, but tonight its just us three. I told him.
I can't sleep without him here. Tom said looking down at his shoes.
I thought he wasn't cool to be around.Max asked him.
I didn't mean that. I was just jealust. Tom said not meeting Max or I's eyes.
I could call Maureen. I offered.
Please. I want Nathan. Tom said looking at me. He was holding back tears. It hurt me to know he was upset. Maureen said it was no problem, and I picked Nathan up.
As soon as we got home Tom reached for Nathan who was asleep. I handed Nathan to Tom who cuddled him. Tom slept in between Max and I with Nathan on Max's chest. It was a family moment where we all needed each other.
