*4am*
Siva's POV:
Court was today. We all had to look & listen to Claude. What is there to say? He ripped my youngest. Of course Nathan, Tom, Max, and I were going also Jay and Kelsey. We've all been dreading today..Nathan especially.
In mid July, Nathan was relaxed enough to allow Max and I resume to work together, but we always made sure someone was with him. It was always mainly Jay. Jay was always with Nathan. It made me suspicious...Jay wouldn't hurt Nathan right?
Max? I asked shaking him awake.
Wh? He asked rubbing his eyes.
Jay wouldn't hurt Nathan right? I asked him.
He got up a little before answering "No never. What brought that on?"
Well we said the same about Claude and Jay is always with Nathan. I explained to him.
Seev, Jay's not going to hurt Nath. We've known him for almost 14 years. Max said.
Well we knew Claude for 4 and he hurt Nathan. I said getting out of bed and putting on my shirt.
Where are you going? Max asked.
To Nathan's room. I said as Max got up too not bothering with a shirt. Not that I minded.
We walked to Nathan's room and pushed the door open. Jay wasn't in his bed, but instead in Nathan's bed holding Nathan. Nathan had his head on Jay's chest, and they both had their arms wrapped around each other.
Do you think Nathan was forced? I whispered to Max.
No they always sleep like that. Ever since they were little kids. Max reminded me. He started walking back to bed with me looking back at Nathan's room. We got back in bed, and shut the light out.
6:45 am Seev. Max reminded me before falling asleep again.
*4:27am*
I was still up thinking about Jay who was in a bed. With my son. I thought nothing of it when they were younger, but now that their older I don't like it. I'm not being homophobic at all, it's just their so young. I got out of bed again without my shirt this time and watched Jay and Nathan sleep.
*5:43am*
Tom's POV:
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. On the way I saw Papa just standing in front of Nathan and Jay's room. I passed it off and went in the bathroom. When I came out, Papa was still standing there. U decided to find out why.
Papa? I asked walking towards him. He jumped a bit not expecting my voice.
Tom. Yes? Papa asked me. I peered around him and saw Jay and Nath asleep.
Are you watching them sleep? I asked him.
Yeah. It's ok, just go back to bed. Papa said smiling at me.
Right. I said going back into my room.
*7:26am*
Jay's POV:
I woke up without opening my eyes just yet. I felt Nathan's arms wrapped around me with his head on me. I smiled opening my eyes. Instead of looking at Nathan first, my eyes flew to the door immediately holding Nathan closer.
Oh just you. I said to Mister Siva who entered the room.
Just me. He said looking at Nathan then me.
Do you two always sleep together that way? I mean we gave you a bed. Mister Siva went on. I had a feeling he didn't like the way Nath and I were sleeping.
Just when he has nightmares and we've always slept this way in this past. I told him.
Nightmares? Why didn't he tell me? Mister Siva questioned.
He didn't want people to know. I told him.
Fine then. Be ready at 8:30am were leaving at 9:00am. Mister Siva said in a cold tone before walking out.
That was strange, but ok. I thought before untangling myself from Nathan. He didn't even wake up as I grabbed my suit and headed to the bathroom. I took a shower and dried off. I put on my suit and didn't mess with my curls that were all over the top of my head.
I walked back to Nathan's room and saw him still asleep.
Nath, wake up. I said starting to shake him.
Too early. Nathan whined swatting me away.
Yeah I know, but come on get up. I said as he pulled the pillow over his head.
Nath we have to leave soon. I said trying to take the pillow off his head. He had a strong grip on it so I gave up. Instead I pulled the blanket off him and onto my bed. He took the pillow off to glare at me, and I took this as an opportunity to pick him up.
Shower. I said putting him down in front of the bathroom.
*9:15am*
Max's POV:
Siva, the calmest of the 3/5's of us who could drive, drove us to the courthouse. The ride was silent. I looked in the mirror and saw Nathan asleep on Tom's shoulder, & both Tom and Jay staring out the window. Every red light, Siva would stare at Jay with a glare. The third time he did, I put my hand on his thigh.
Stop. Drop it. I mouthed to him. He sighed, dropping his glare and driving again.
A couple minutes before we got there, Tom woke Nathan up. When we got out of the car, we started walking in.
There's the rape victim!! Get his picture!!! Someone with a camera shouted. Instinct told Siva, Jay, Tom, & I to form a square around Nathan whose head was hung low.
Are one of you his father? A female reported asked us as we walked by.
Two of us. Siva said pissed off.
Two? Oh your...
We walked away not catching the rest of her sentence.
Kaneswaran-George and McGuiness. I told the guard with a list. We walked in and Seev, Tom, & I sat behind the gate while Nathan and Jay sat behind a desk with Mr. Ladins, their lawyer.
Time for court.
