*I lied Tomsey drama next chapter*
*August 5th*
Siva's POV:
It was August now and we were all living back with Max in Manchester. One month before school starts and no family vacation this year because we spent July selling the flat in Ireland. Tom and Nathan had their own rooms, while I slept in the guest room. I didn't fully trust Max yet.
*Next Morning*
Max offered to take the boys shopping at the local mall for more clothes. Nathan gladly accepted wanting more hats. Tom said he'd shop on his own, but join them in the car.
I decided to visit the McGuiness' so I walked down to their house. When I got there I rang the doorbell and Tom M looking so much older answered.
Mister Siva? He asked in shock.
Mum! Jay! Mister Siva's here!! He called as Maureen appeared ushering me into the house.
Siva! She cheered as we hugged.
Mister Siva! Jay cheered running down the stairs tripping over the last one.
Still clumsy I see Jay. I said as we all laughed.
Is Tom back? Tom asked me.
And Nathan? Jay added.
Yes & yes. Were back living at our old flat. I told them as Maureen frowned.
Didn't he cheat on you? Maureen asked as I sighed at the memory.
Yeah, but everyone deserves a second chance. I said as they nodded.
I suppose your right. Maureen agreed.
Where are Tom & Nathan? Jay asked wanting to change the subject.
Out shopping with Max....or at least Nathan is. Tom rode with them, but he refuses to shop with Max. I said.
I talked to Jay, Maureen, & Tom until I decided to go home.
Come by tomorrow if your free boys. Nathan & Tom would be happy to see you. I told them as I waved goodbye.
Max's POV:
Tom didn't fully trust me yet & I understood that, but I hope it wouldn't take to long. He didn't call me "dad" anymore instead calling me by my first name. Nathan on the other hand trusted me, but like Tom not fully except he was nicer & called me dad. I gave Tom money and told him to meet Nathan & I back at the car in 2 hours. He responded with a whatever & walked off.
* 2 hours later*
Nathan had picked out some clothes and many hats and beanies. He was much easier to shop with when I bought him clothes because he had to have "certain" hats. We walked back to the car & waited for Tom. As we waited Nathan told me about Ireland.
Oh yeah thanks for the clothes. Nathan said smiling.
No problamo. I said making him shake his head laughing.
*45 minutes later*
Dad where's Tom? Nathan asked me panic clear in his voice.
Probably still in the mall. Let's go back & look for him. I reassured him as we walked back in the mall.
Tom! Tom! Tom! We called scanning the area for Tom.
Let's go to the lost children's meeting place. I told Nathan who started chuckling.
What? I asked him.
Tom will be mad. Your going to embarrass him. Nathan told me as I rolled my eyes.
I don't care if he's embarrassed. I snapped grabbing his shoulder forcefully.
I dragged him the whole way despite his protests.
When we got there I let go and he rubbed his shoulder obviously mad at me.
I'm sorry Nath. I didn't mean to hurt you, but Tom could be lost. I told him as he crossed his arms not wanting to talk anymore.
Lost a child? A woman at a front desk asked me.
Um yeah. His name is Tom Kaneswaran-George. He's 14, short brown hair, wearing a black shirt, & jeans. I told the woman as she spoke through a speaker repeating everything I just said.
A couple minutes later, a security guard appeared with a scowling Tom with him.
Thank you. I told the guard & woman eho both nodded.
Nathan stayed closer to Tom, & Tom didn't appear to mind. When we got back to the car is when the silence stopped.
Tom we agreed 2 hours we'd meet back at the car. I told Tom who rolled his eyes.
Stop rolling your eyes and glaring at me. I snapped.
Whatever. I met some friends. Lost track of time. Tom said not caring whatsoever.
Your to stay in your room tomorrow all day. I punished Tom.
It's my birthday! Tom argued.
You. Were. Supposed. To. Meet. Us. I said slowly parking the car in front of the flat.
Fine like I care. Tom said getting out of the car with Nathan.
They both walked in quietly and I realized I made them both mad now. Siva stared at me with a questioning look.
I sighed and explained to him what happened.
Tom's POV:
Nathan followed me into my room and shut my door also locking it.
What's on your mind, Lil' Nath? I asked him using one of his old nicknames.
Nathan didn't smile like usual so I motioned him to sit on my bed.
What's wrong? Did something happen when you were with Da-Max? I asked as he nodded.
What? I asked since he didn't respond.
He made my shoulder red. Nathan told me pulling down his sleeve.
His shoulder was red with a hand print on it.
Oh Nath. I said as he let tears escape his eyes. I pulled him towards me and let him cry on me. When he was done his eyes were red and puffy, but he clearly saw ny angry eyes.
Don't tell Papa. H-he d-didn't m-mean it. Nathan told me stuttering a bit.
He hurt you! I said as Nathan sighed.
I just want us to be a family again. Dont say anything Tom. Please? For me? Nathan begged me.
We stared at each other a moment before I nodded ok.
If he hurts you again I want to know. I told him as he nodded.
We ended up falling asleep even though it was only 7pm.
