Ch3 Anxiety

"It's nice to see you again guys!" I said happily while they're all squeezing me like I'm gonna explode. "God! I thought you are eaten by walkers!" I said surprised because look! They're alive and they're all in one piece! "Yeah, well about that Rory, while you were running away from the herd, me and the others are shouting at ya but you didn't hear us  then Hope chase ya but we've been cut off because of the herd. We're so sorry, Rory." Arianne said "Not a thing." I said.

"Rory, I need to introduce you to the others." Carl just suddenly said from behind, then when I turned around Carl just held my hand and then dragged me away from the cell block away from my friends that has smile on their faces.

As we are walking in a hallway for like 10 minutes, I kept looking at Carl and his face is like nervous and he looks like we he wants to say something but he is just to shy.

"Rory, I have something to say..." He said and stopped nervously and sadly "What is it then?" I said back nervously, I mean look its kinda weird that every time that we're always together, the both of us are like, mostly shy I mean look I admit that I have a mini crush on him but will it grow?

"You know that I know that you don't know that I know that I don't have a roommate in my cell block..." He said and stopped after the words cell block and thinking what to say and he looks shy, he looks like that he is always shy I mean he looks cute when he's shy...God!!! what am I saying!? I mean he made me laugh a bit because of what he said 'I know that you don't...'   Then Carl looked at me  and said "...so I was wondering can you be my roommate?" he said, smiling  while scratching the back of his head and looking at me with his deep blue eyes. "Uhh...Yes...Okay." I said gently. Woohoo! I finally answered in a normal tone! "Great! come on lets go to our cell block. I'll go get your bags okay?" Carl said smiling "I guess I'll just go get help from my friends." I said back, avoiding eye contact with him. "Yeah...Well it's dark already and I am sure that your "faithful friends" are already asleep." he said while pointing at their cell. "Come on lets go get your bags." He said while walking out of the cell block.

As we're walkin' in the prison yard towards the tower for where Maggie and Glenn mostly stayed at and for where Daryl also placed my bags, I saw something on the ground and it has wooden cross marks that's been pushed into the ground I asked Carl while he is walking silently beside me "Carl?" I asked comfortably "Hmm?" He said while he is looking at me, smiling comfortably too. "I am just wondering whose tombs are those?" I asked while he gave me his jacket because it is so cold that night. "Those three tombs are from Axel, one if the prisoners, T- dog, he is one of us, and my mom, she died while she is giving birth to Judith in a cesarean somethin' and I have to shoot her so she won't turn... I mean by the time when I shot her, she was asleep because of blood loss." By the time he said that my heart is crushed because he had to shoot his own mother only to prevent her from turning and he doesn't have a chance to keep her alive. "I'm sorry" I said sadly while he made me hug his right arm because he is so warm. "It's alright" Carl said while he is trying to keep me warm "I bet your mom's proud of you 'cause your a grown man." I said back then he gave me a warm smile.

As we got to the tower Beth opened the gate of the tower for me and Carl. "Thank you" I said while smiling at Beth. When me and Beth got to the top of the tower I saw Maggie sitting with a baby. "How cute. What's her name?" I asked Maggie "Her names Judith, Carl's baby sister." Maggie told me as she is trying to keep Judith warm "She came here to get her bags." Carl just suddenly popped out. "Oh... Are these your bags?" Beth pointed out my bags and I just nodded yes with a warm smile. Beth is an 18 year old farm girl and she's gentle and kind, even when she is killing walkers and she is also very close to Judith and Carl and for myself I call her Blonde...in my mind, she has a boyfriend named Zack. Maggie is this girl who is beautiful and she is very close to her sister Beth and she is married, I guess, to Glenn.

Carl took my bags then Maggie and Beth looked at both me and Carl, like the two of us have a thing then the two of them just said "bye love birds" the two of them said while laughing. "Don't forget to keep Judith warm alright?" Carl told Maggie and Beth while blushing because of what they said.

As the two of us are trying to get back to our cell block I kept hearing the voices of the walkers because the two of us are walking near the fence. "How long have you've been out there?" Carl asked me while I'm looking at the walkers "A month" I answered back "Anyway Bea and the others told me that your group is from the same group, how did your camp got attacked? I'm sorry I just don't have a chance to ask them." he said while his right arm is around me trying to keep me warm "I don't on how our area got breached because we were all in school when suddenly we heard gunshots and I got separated and I found out that my dad's been eaten." I said relaxed but inside me I'm sad "Sorry"  Carl said while he was trying to open the gate.

As we entered our cell he asked "where do you want up or down?" Carl said and I just asked him "Where do you sleep first?" "Down" he answered "Well, I'll just take the up." I said "No, just sleep on my bed because you may fall up here." Carl said like he is an endorser or something. 

"okay fine, I'll sleep on the down side, thank you anyway."

I said back placing my bags o  the bed while he put his bag on the upper area of the bed.

Carl's POV

As Rory is sleeping already, I just stared at her for like hours then, came to my mind I was thinkin' about her from the first time we met and for the first time we've laid eyes on each other, I knew that there is somethin' in her because she survived on her own, and she has this look on  her like she is this helpful, kind, someone that I have been looking for and for the first time I looked at her brown eyes I know it that she is the one. I got surprised on how her friends mostly express her everytime when we're talking about when she's not yet found. The looks on her friend's faces are just like, they lost their parents and they truly care for her and on how she proved her loyalty to them and when they saw Rory I saw tears coming out from their eyes and her friends are just so loyal to her and  by that time, Rory proved herself to me. Every time when the the two of us are together the two of us have this...something and I always have this Anxiety when I'm with her.

While I was leading her to the council I wanna ask her something but I just feel like this isn't the time and I don't even know if she does still remember me. We have been classmates when we're in kindergarten in Kentucky but she moved in Atlanta because of her dad. She is one year younger than me and back in kindergarten I already have a crush on her, and when she left I just suddenly feel alone because the both of us have been very close to each other. I have felt alone for years including now but the time when she got back, that feeling just left me because I finally found her.
