Rory's POV

I am standing on the stage, still having my gun pointing at Jimmy's dead body. I thought about something when I saw him pointing his gun at Liz. I put my gun back in my holster, I looked at Glenn, Joshua, Bea, and the others that has shocked faces because of me. I walked to the very front of the stage, faceing the crowd, and I looked at them in a very serious way.

"Starting this NIGHT!" I shouted at them. "There will be a curfew. And if we caught anyone out of their building will be accused of rebellion. Y'all hear me?!" I said as I looked at Lizzie and I looked at the crowd again. "Now, there will be exceptions around that curfew. Only the guards and the council members have the rights to come out of their buildings." I said as I started to ball my fists up. "Now the rules of the guards will still be the same. Having day-guards and night-guards." I said as I walked backwards towards Jimmy's body. "Now, if anyone has something against us, you will be banished away from the group and we will take you to a very far place without supplies and... Get Lost." I said. "Now there will be new members of the council, Joshua, Bea, Glenn, and Colt. But the original C-members will still be staying except for Jimmy-boy back here." I said, very pissed off. " Now all of y'all think that you know for what My Other Side is. But this ain't all... Y'all don't know me that fully. 'Cause what you're all always seeing, doesn't mean that you'll always belive it." I said as I started to walk down the stage.

Lizzie's POV

Rory saved me from Jimmy but Jimmy being shot, is ain't what I wanted. I mean, there are still a lot of options right? Like maybe, imprisoning him in the dark detention room like what they did to Deacon.

There's still one thing that I'm telling you guys about Rory. When Rory moved out of Kentucky, away from her friends, loved ones, and families, she completely changed. She ain't the energetic type of person that everyone used to know. There's this one time that she'd been bailed out of jail 'cause she popped a tire off of a police cruiser and they found a swiss knife, a real knife, and ten thousand bucks that she stole.

I know that all of those happened very early for her. She had been sent in an obedience school for almost a year and that is also the place for where she spent her eleventh birthday.

After she got out of obedience school, she cooled off and started going to school but still is mad to her dad, Rooker, 'cause they have to move to Atlanta. Just like what I said before, she needs to leave her friends. A few days later, she got on the third place of her class until her two bestfriends also came to Atlanta, Joshua and Bea. After that, she got on top of her class being followed by Bea but Joshua is already in College by that time; while Bea is two years older that Rory but Rory is an advanced student.

Bea's POV

"She's changing again." I said as I am talking to Joshua in a storage-building of the school. There's actually no one allowed to enter the building except for guards and council members. "Look, she's turning like her real dad. You can even hear it in her. She speaks like her real dad." Joshua said as he stressed out the word 'real'. "How can we even stop this?" I asked, clueless on what Rory's gonna be in the future in these 'Walker Days'

"But the real problem is, while she's like that, what will happen if she found out things about us being told to keep her family's secret about who her real dad is." Joshua said a little panicky -If there's a word like that- "I don't know what she'll do to us if she found out about it." I said and when I looked at a dark corner of the building, there I saw Rory, still in her bloodied clothes.

"You heard?" I asked nervously. "Every word" she said and walked out of the building."Rory wait!" Joshua said as the two of us chase after her. Then, finally, we had a grab of her. "Look, we're sorry for not telling you." I said. She gave me a threatening glare... She never does that to us... "Look, I trusted the two of you since the very first time I was welcomed to earth!" She shouted as she forced herself to make Joshua let go of her which she succeded. "I've been with you guys for fourteen years. I ain't even fourteen yet." She said as I saw her holding back her tears. "I trusted you with everything that's in my life. I would even take a bullet for you guys." Rory said and I can't believe it that she said that 'cause she ain't even the type of person who wants to say those type of things. "I have been living for fourteen years and when people ask me for who my friends are, I am proud to shout your names out just for them to know and just for the two of you to know!" She shouted and walked away from us.

Rory's POV

I changed because of Jimmy. The time when I saw him hit Lizzie and by the time when he pointed his gun at her. That's when things started to change.

I mean... Argh!... I could even just pulled him away from Lizzie and lock him up in the detention area. But I didn't, instead of me doin' that, I shot him cold-bloodedly, without mercy, without even making him explain. When I looked at Jimmy's eyes, his look was just so helpless and begging me not to shoot him but having mercy, caring, thinking, and other shit, are at the back of my head 'cause I am focusing on my people's safety.

I walked away from Bea and Joshua with anger boiling through me.

I walked in my Hummer and drove away from the school.

Everytime when I'm mad, this is what I do, I go to places for where not so many people are going.

***

I stopped in a park in the outskirts of Atlanta. This is the place for where I mostly hang out every night when I try to make myself peace-out.

There are no walkers in sight in the park but there are corpses lying around.

I walked towards a clean bench. I removed my holster and place it on the bench so I can sit down comfortably.

There, that's when I started thinking about myself on what I'm gonna do. I mean, look, my friends have been keeping secrets away from me for the last fourteen years.

I know that y'all have been wondering that, everytime when I get into some trouble, I don't wanna talk about it. I ain't the type of person who wants to discuss things with other people, especially about myself and for what I've been through.

***

I sat there for almost like an hour. I've mostly been thinking about the living and the dead. If these walkers hadn't been here, I could still maybe be living in my old life, y'know. Going in parks, hanging out with your friends, being in school.

"Man, I'm hungry." I said to myself as I started to reach for a bag of biscuits in my bag. I opened the bag and started to eat. I placed my bag on the other end of the bench to be my pillow and started to lay down and enjoy the stars and forget all of my problems.

I took a deep breath on how peaceful the night was. I took a couple of biscuits and as I was just going to eat it, I heard something beside me but I can't see anything 'cause its dark. And then I heard a whine and it sound like a dog. I pulled out my flashlight from my pocket and there I saw a German Sheperd beside, sitting and looking at me and the food.

"Want some...." I said as I started to look at its collar. "Want some, Max?" I said as I gave him the food and he starts chewing it. "Haven't eaten in days, have ya boy?" I said and I stood up. I grabbed my holster and wore it again. "Want a home bud?" I said as I started to walk and he also started to follow me. I managed to go to my car and open my car door if the back seat. "Come in" I said to Max and he hopped in the car.

***

I drove back to the camp and it's almost morning.

"Cooled off already?" I heard Liz asked me as I got down from the car and I saw Bea and the others. "Thank God you're back!" They said and started to hug me. "Whoah... No hugs... I ain't that type of person." I said. "Bought you guys something." I said as Max jumped out of the car. "H-how?" Bea asked. "Found him and took him home." I answered plainly.

I walked towards the building for where I'm staying. I went to my room and made Max his own sleeping place.

I lie down in my bed and I heard a knock. I went to my door and there I saw Bea and Joshua. "We just wanna say sorry for what we did." He said. "Its fine." I said plainly and the two of them ain't even expecting it. "Piece-out guys." I said as I formed a piece sign and closed my door.

I know that all of y'all think that its fast but I just don't want things so slow, if all of y'all know what I mean.
