Hi everyone,
so sorry about the long wait.. But I hope you can find some comfort in these last few chapters. I'm sorry that I'm sorta a shitty writer but I hope the idea of the story was at least satisfactory. I hope you're enjoying your summer, or if you're still stuck in winter, hope school isn't too awful. Good luck to you all,
and I hope you enjoy x

The Majikal were light on their feet, they rarely made a sound in the forests, or in marshes or anywhere.
But here, the ground stuck to even the Elves feet. Who usually walked languidly and barely touched the ground.
Here was different. Here was where the Unseelie slept.
The trees rose high and there canopy was so thick it blocked out the sun into one long everlasting night.
The trees and bushes bore poisoned fruits. Nothing disturbed the undergrowth.
None camped too near the Fairy Rings. But everyone knew where the stone must be placed to stop The Awakening, as the Elders had begun to call it.
I pray Saoirse arrives soon.
Parthim lay curled around a thick oak. Unconcerned some would think but I could feel her worry, she missed Densase. She missed her brother as I missed my sister.
Of late we had begun to distance ourselves, but I remembered the days when we were joined at the hip, partners in crime. Ever since the Dragons, or maybe before.
I missed the forge, and home. I missed Harry and Mother. And all the others.
Elizabeth sat close by, her eyes trained closely on the flames of out meagre fire.
Her Talent, the Elders said was Firereading. She could read the fire and feel intense moments of the lives around her, past, present and future.
She was searching for a sign that they lived. Her brother in particular.
But the fire images were warped here, tinged with darkness.
Nothing good would come out of Reading here.
I moved closer to her and drew her to me gently, her focus dropped and she murmured into my cloak, 'Nothing is good in the flames.'
'Nothing is good here, Elizabeth.'
'I know but the flames say that William is dead, Saoirse dying and Alex has disappeared.'
'Look no longer at them, all that mayhaps be true but I'll not believe it till the dead are buried and gone. I think we would know if Saoirse was gone, and Alex is in bad company, perhaps my father shields him in darkness where no flame may see him.'
'What of William?'
'Will is strong and stubborn, even death wouldn't stop him from taking his throne back.'
'Is he ruthless?'
I frowned, 'No.'
'Zachary is.'
